I am pretty handy at putting things together overall and this went okay. You have to figure out the correct angle for connectors and, as others have said, the pictograph directions are not very clear. It took about 20 minutes. The shelter is sturdy and of reasonable quality for the price. Within seconds, not even a full minute, my cat was curled up inside it. She is on her way out for head scratches when I took the picture. It is a perfect size for her and the open front means she can still keep a lookout when not snoozing for 22 hours a day. I like the elevated sturdy mesh bed. I am in TX and even the ground under the shade of the patio awning gets hot. This is much better for keeping cooler. Very happy with this purchase. ... show more

Stiching on center Velcro strap ripped when assembling. It would be nice if the canvas in the entrance was secured with the front posts going through it, but instead there are just two piece of Velcro at the bottom legs and one off centered up top.
