These are basically standard 6-foot table light extension cords, suitable for electrical items that don't pull very much wattage and don't require the grounding 3rd prong. However, they do come with one premium safety feature: each plug of the 3 on each extension cord, has an individual sliding safety cover. While this isn't waterproof, it will prevent small children from sticking things into the open outlets and getting a shock. Most similar extension cords come with a flexible plastic cover that only covers one side and looks unsightly when not in use; these are better. There's also a mounting loop on the end, in case you want to hang the plug from a hook. Otherwise, these do exactly what you'd expect. They seem a bit pricey for such a standard item, so shop around, but, the safety covers are worth a bit extra.

Just a normal extension cord I definitely ordered the wrong thing because that wasn’t what I was looking for, but I kept them anyway

Out of the box you can tell the cords are a bit better quality, a little heavier than your basic dollar store cords. The outlet has a safety lock you slide over to prevent any young ones from poking anything into the holes and getting shocked. These are two pronged outlets and devices plug in smoothly without a lot of force like some of the dollar store cords, but still are secure. I took off a star entirely due to price. At almost $17 for a 3 pack it's a bit pricey, but again definitely better quality than cheaper alternatives.

These are what you'd expect. A no-nonsense pack of light duty extension cords. They include tamper proof lockouts and carry the ETL certification instead of the more common UL. They're fine for common household appliances such as desk lamps, telephones, etc. but should not be used with high wattage appliances such as clothes irons or space heaters.

I got these for a iron that had a very short cord. These come with 3 outlets and come with a mounting hole that you can attach these to the wall. They are ETL listed and compatible for 110-125v, which means if you are traveling to a country with 220v you cannot use these in those countries. My use is for only the time that I am using the iron or using these for smaller devices for charging when I am sitting away from a plug. The price is a good one for this 3 pack 6 ft extension cords.

These are good light duty extension cords. They are great for lamps, fans, and anything that doesn't have a high current draw. On the box it says they are rated at 13 amps, but I am not sure they would be good for appliances or anything that would draw a higher current. For normal light duty use these extension cords are great to have on hand.

For a 3 pack of 6 ft extension cords, $17 is not bad. ETL listed and compact (not bulky). Would be nice if they were 3-pronged, but like I said for a 3 pack this isn't bad.
