Firstly, they work well despite concerns about the magnet mechanism and our thick wooden cabinets/drawers. The application process can be a bit tricky but in general, it is easy, and no tools are required. The sticky backing does hold up well and did not damage the surfaces we stuck them to once they were removed. Be sure to have the key located nearby or buy multiple sets/keys if you plan to use the locks across a large area or for frequently opened cabinets/drawers. Secondly, the locks themselves are meant to be applied within the cabinet/drawer which takes away some of the storage space available in drawers, but not so much of a nuisance for cabinets. If you are looking to use these in drawers, be mindful of the location you plan to adhere them to, and the space needed for the device itself. We were unable to apply these locks to several of our drawers due to the lack of surface space to adhere the lock to, or because the surface to apply the lock to was the bottom of the drawer above.

The durability of the adhesive is not good. Some of them did not stick to my furniture. It comes with small screws how ever i don’t want to make holes in my furniture. It is a great design and functionality is good. At first is was a pain to assemble like getting a good position but then i got the hang of the ones that actually stayed in place.

While some of these have been able to last through my toddlers half of them have broken off from being pulled on so hard. So I would say that they are good for spots that are not going to be really thrashed on by kids.
