I got this to help provide additional support for my mattress, as well as protect it's warranty. Some frames have cross bars that are too far spread, leaving gaps that a mattress can sink into over time, causing issues with its shape, coils, etc. This gives you a nice flat surface, supporting the entire bottom of the mattress. My frame said didn't need box spring, but I learned the hard way about the spacing of the cross bars. I love my frame for it's height and other features, this product just allowed me to add to it and at a good price.

The corners of wood broken. The straps holding it together came off when I unfolded. Am an older woman looking for easy installation. I have 2 other beds with platform bed stands. Will NOT be purchasing this for them especially for what I was charged. If I wasn’t so tired from putting this together and trying to perform like it should I would certainly return. NOT a happy consumer and would not recommend

Although the slats are close together it was recommended to use this under the mattress. It has made the mattress seem more firm. I would recommend this product as a “bunky board” for a queen size bed.
