Doesn’t work. At all. But not worth the hassle to return it because it was so cheap lol. On a positive note I did get a few laughs from reading the manual. These were okay but didn't last long. I got one to heat up my hot tub faster. The first one cracked within three months. I reached out to customer service and had it replaced for no charge. The second one, I got in Januaray '23 and it lasted little over a year. The second one, the ground pin on the plug came out and almost burnt my backyard down. ... show more

This product does what it says. Takes a while to heat a 5 gal shower bucket, but that's reasonable. Low draw on an inverter generator too. The battery operated thermometer however stopped working between unpacking and first use a cpl weeks later. Likely very cheap watch batteries that were included.

I use it to heat a bucket of about 5-gallons of water and I'm amazed at how quickly it heats up. The thermometer is handy but I don't really need it. It's too inconsistent, of course varying according to what level of the water it drops to. The warnings included advice that the power cord or plug could get hot, but I haven't noticed that happening at all, nor any lights dimming or other signs the power is being drained excessively when this is used. ... show more

I didn’t really think this would work but it surprised me. I was out of hot water in my kitchen sink for about 2 weeks so I bought this to put in a container of water for dishes. It was very fast. Easy to setup and heats fast
