I bought this fire pit based off the design. It was different than others. Once the package arrived, I took one look at the directions and instantly scanned the QR code. The YouTube video was better than the printed instructions. I had an extra pair of hands and eyes and that helped a lot. It took about an hr to put together. I am pleased with my purchase.     • Not very good instructions for assembly.

Open the box, take all the parts out, compare them to the pictures. Pay attention to where two parts will over lap. Look where the bolt hole are. Sort out the three different size bolts. When you start putting it together just put the nuts on the bolts enough to hold the pieces together, DO NOT tighten stuff up because if you do it wrong you will have to take parts apart and try again. On mine there was a picture of a round disk that goes on the bottom where the four side pieces come together. No round disk found. Lastly if the door does not open and close smoothly you are going to have to bend pieces to get clearance. I suggest you do this in the garage in the shade. Good luck. ... show more

I love that it's a fire pit and a grill after I make my food I can eat fireside but what I dislike about it is I had one the grill brackets Fall into the fire and it does take some skill to learn how to cook with it but once you get the hang of it the food is absolutely amazing and I love it's cheaper to cook with wood versus barbecue briquettes. Also I've even caught my neighbors enjoying my fire pit versus their own. ... show more

Listen, this is a great starter fire pit. Don’t expect more than you’re paying for. My wife wanted a fire pit and although I thought it would be nice I didn’t feel we would use it that much.With this it didn’t break the bank and if we use it a lot we can spend as much as we or you want on a upgrade It’s not real easy to put together but there are videos online that help a lot ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I love this thing! A bit more complex to build than typical because it's large sized and really we'll-made. Very handsome looking thing on patio, deck, etc. It attracted comments and compliments from guests, what are those things that you'll be proud to own! The removable grilling tray is "easy in - easy out" for cleaning. I use a metal screen made for grilling to go easy on the grilling tray itself. We've enjoyed all sorts of summer grilling fare with this, holds all we need to feed the troops, and cleans up beautifully. This autumn-winter, I plan to stock some logs and make a raging fire in this fireplace, leaves falling, chill in the air, warmed by this round fireplace with colored flames in the globe providing some sage and welcome ambience for the holidays. It's very well made, doesn't rattle or squeak. Do lube the joints - moving parts with a bit of WD40 to avoid rust and keep the lid moving well. Price is great on Amazon and don't be out-off by putting it together. It's all worth an hour of building to cook in nice weather and warm you in the chill air. Highly recommended! ... show more

The assemble was a bit tricky, but, we got through it. However, when we got to the last few steps, we realized that one hole on the band was totally out of line - about 3/4 of an inch off. My husband was able to drill a hole that would fix the problem. We haven't used it yet so not sure about function. ... show more
