- Power-Saving Mode4 levels of adjustable brightness, users can adjust the brightness of the laser line according to different usage environments. At minimum brightness, the laser can continue to work for up to 20 hours, at maximum brightness, the working time is 7 hours. This review of for the 12 line level and tripod Level: the level works well. Its accuracy checks out and the lines are well visible within a a medium light room or lower. One part of my room has a ton of large windows and it’s hard to see the laser during the day from about 20 feet away. It’s not a huge deal but i would like to see the line in all areas of the room at 20’ even in a bright area. You can see in my pic that the line starts to get much dimmer towards the window. It gets worse from there. In practice, there are very few times when this would matter and it will definitely not matter on an overcasted day or if I just brought the laser closer. All modes work as described and I really like that it has a flash mode for finding the laser. Tripod: The tripod is decent. It’s a combination of some ok quality aluminum parts and some cheaper plastic parts. It’s light and will do the job. I don’t think it will survive heavy use because the clamps are not tight and the plastic is not heavy duty. Nonetheless, it should hold up ok for the occasional use. A pro would not be using the product but a diy home owner with an occasional project should have no problems.

Overall, I am thrilled with this laser level. It has many features and is a good value. If you are a homeowner (or renter) and need some professional-level leveling, this is for you. Here are some things you'll want to know about this device: 1) The laser level itself seems very solid and well-made. The accompanying tripod is "good enough" and tall enough for most home-based applications. The tripod is made of plastic and metal and will certainly do for light usage. 2) The level and the tripod have their own cases. The case for the tripod is very basic. The one for the level is much better. 3) The level is fairly straightforward to use. There is a decent manual that accompanies the level, but even without a manual, I don't think it would be too hard to get the basics. It is self-leveling (which is essential), and it can do vertical and horizontal lines. There is a remote control, which is interesting, and does work, but I think I won't ever need it. 4) In terms of brightness, the green laser lines are pretty clear, even on the far end of the room. There are brightness adjustments, but the default is good. 5) The level is rechargeable via USB-C. I am always happy when manufactures go with the standard. It's great that I can use the same cable to charge my phone and this laser level. I don't need any more special cables. (It does come with a cable though, in case you don't already have one.) Overall I think this a good buy. I am giving it 5 stars.

First, the tripod. It is very lightweight but not cheap or frail. Comes in a protective carry bag. It is well built with double telescoping legs. There are two level bubbles to insure a level tripod but then the device is also self-leveling. There are many features: The connecting plate is removable to ease connection to the Laser Level or any other device you want to use the Tripod with. (See my pictures They illustrate the many features of the tripod) It is perfect for attaching the laser level as well as any other devices or cameras you have. There is also an adaptor for attaching other devices. The laser level is equally impressive. It comes protected in a carry case with foam cut-outs for the device and the accessories. You have X and Y axis ability. It is self-leveling and omits an alarm beep when the tripod or the laser is not level. There are 3 brightness intensities for the laser and you can make the laser lights blink if using in bright light so you can easily find them. Last but not least, there is a remote that allows you to turn on the horizontal line, the vertical line, both or off. Nice feature. (See my pics and if you look close, you will see the laser lines, even going back into a darkened room) The horizontal laser has a very good, 360 degree bright line. All-in-all this is a great product for the price. I am very impressed with all the features.

This 2-axis laser level is just what I needed for this years projects. I used this laser level to help me install electrical conduit the length of my garage. Usually I would have had to make pencil marks using a measuring tape to set the height from the ceiling or floor. Using the laser level, I just set the tripod legs lengths to allow the laser beam to be just under where I wanted the conduit to run, and then used the cranking handle on the top of the tripod to elevate the beam to the exact position for the conduit. Very simple. I am going to be installing some decorative ceiling beams on my vaulted living room ceiling. The vertical laser beam will be perfect to help me install the beams in straight lines. The vertical beam can also be used for when I install tile on the kitchen floor... And when I install wood flooring. People have commented already on how lightweight the tripod is. But, one really nice feature of the tripod legs are the ball and socket feet... They make secure, full contact footings for the tripod. This laser level will be making my DIY home projects a lot easier and most likely quicker to complete.

I bought this for my brother in law for an anniversary gift because I know how long he has been wanting one like this. He was as about excited as a guy gets when he gets a new tool they've been wanting for a while. I actually think it is pretty cool myself. It is nice and works great because of all the different things it can do and will go way beyond what a plain old level can do or a plumb Bob string for sure. It will help him with his house remodeling project and then some. He is happy with it and loves the double laser line mode and the remote to switch it with. Works great and even has its own little pouch to keep it in. It comes in handy and lasts a long time before needing to be recharged.
