  • Good headphones, solid sound quality. So so lifespan
So let me preface by saying I live in headphones. I have tinnitus. I am in headphones most of the day to drown out the ringing. Most would consider this counterintuitive but Meniere's runs in the family so I'm already aware of what's coming my way and have for years. That's between me and my ENT at this point, I just do what needs to be done to get through the day comfortably. The sound quality has to be excellent in any headphones i purchase as I already have early stages of hearing loss and to hear all tones like I did in my teens clearly I need something I can adjust the bass on. I'm picky and have returned more than a few sets for poor quality sound. I listen to a wide variety of music everything from classical to techno swing, alternative and metal and every combo inbetween. My Spotify end of year list said I listened to 30 genres last year for example. As such I tend to buy cheaper but well quality headphones as I'm in them for many hours a day. They need to be comfortable when wearing my glasses (which is the majority of the time), durable and not cumbersome both on my head and for travel. Buying a $200 pair of headphones is useless as I destroy them with how often I drop things from my spinal cord injury and my usage means their life expectancy isn't any longer than some of the cheaper ones. I'm seriously in them 16 hours+ a day sometimes at low volume, 8 hours minimum most days. I'm usually purchasing headphones every 6-12 months due to wear and tear from excessive use. They come off to get cleaned, charged and put back on when not sleeping essentially. For that purpose these have been excellent. They have good solid sound quality and the bluetooth setting works excellent. I've gone out in the yard many a time with them still working while my tablet is running my music app inside (and we have a block construction house). The bass is fairly easy to set, though you do have to keep scrolling and go round a second time if you pass the first one you like. I wish there was a way to scroll to set that in case of liking the previous setting better. Pick a song with heavy bass and vocals when picking which setting to use for daily use when picking your setting. My main complaint besides that with them has been the bright indicator light on the left side of the earpiece. You can put a darkening sticker on it but in general it a very bright LED and a sticker may get stuck in your hair if it gets loose. Its fairly annoying if you're doing something in low light. The headphones last 7 months for me prior to killing the right speaker. For me that's not a bad lifespan. I'm also going to be completely honest in that I didn't initially buy the protective case and I think that added to them getting beat up and deteriorating faster. I repurchased. I think for the cost they are still an extremely solid pair of headphones with exceptional sound quality for their price range. They definitely compete with higher range headphones for sound quality. Just buy the matching case so you don't destroy them. I purchased the protective case a few months in when I was sure they were decent and am fairly confident they would have last longer if I had that from the get go. Which is another reason why I repurchased even with the initial pair dying after 7 months. ... show more

  • Great headphones for the price!
I have gotten this product several times over the years and while the hinges keep breaking for me that's only after at least a couple months of heavy use and sometimes sleeping with them listening to ASMR type audio. But for only around 20ish bucks as these headphones always seem to have a deal with them, you can not get better headphones at the price. There is a reason why I keep coming back. First is the fact that the sound quality is great, being able to beat out wind noise while on a escooter. Furthermore the range is excellent, and if you need more range I have to question why you are going so far away from your audio source. The battery life is outstanding, only needing to charge it once a day, WITH very heavy use and can easily last a couple days if a normal person uses them additionally the charge is quite fast able to get a an hourish of usage form roughly 20 mins of charges going from a empty battery. Comfort wise, I sometimes sleep with them on so enough said on that front. That being said these headphones have some downsides. The mic is trash, even in the best of conditions people will complain about your mic. The hinges where the headphones fold is a weak spot being the only reason why I have to keep buying news. Admittedly this could also be due to my heavy usage of them and sometimes sleeping on them (At the time of writing this review I bought my 5th one after 10 months of usage and then waking up to the hinge being broken.). But that's it, nothing else after 5 versions of these has broken. I can see them performing for me for a long if the hinge didn't break. Overall, if you don't care about mic quality these are GREAT headphones for the price! Once again for about 20ish (or lower) dollars you won't find better quality of sound! the average lifespan for them is about 10ish months with VERY HEAVY use. But for any other sane user of headphones, I don't doubt this could last you for years. ... show more
