★★★★★ Absolutely Blown Away. This Is What a Professional E Ink Tablet Should Be. I recently bought the reMarkable Move and returned it almost immediately. For the price, I found it slow, laggy, limited and nowhere near what I expected from a professional productivity device. So I decided to give the FLYNOTE AINOTE a try. Holy cow. I am blown away. This thing absolutely blows reMarkable out of the water. The writing experience is excellent, but that is just the beginning. You get AI recording and transcription capabilities, OCR, intelligent note management and built in ChatGPT functionality that turns this into something far beyond a digital notebook. You can also add your favorite apps, including Kindle, so now it doubles as an eReader instead of locking you into a stripped down ecosystem. One of my favorite features is the mobile app for both iOS and Android. My handwritten notes can be converted through OCR and synced to the app in real time. I can write something on the tablet and have that information available from my phone without jumping through hoops. That is exactly how a modern digital notebook should work. The AI recording capabilities are another game changer, particularly for meetings. This feels less like an electronic notepad and more like an actual productivity tool designed for professionals. After using reMarkable, I honestly cannot believe how much more functionality AINOTE provides. Writing. AI. Recording. Transcription. OCR. ChatGPT. Kindle. Mobile syncing. Apps. eReader functionality. This is the device I thought I was getting when I bought the reMarkable. Game changer. If AINOTE keeps developing products like this, reMarkable and its overpriced, limited tablets are in deep trouble. Five stars. Not even close. I can also make this even more aggressive and scathing toward reMarkable while keeping it credible as an Amazon or Best Buy style review.

I was very happy at first with this than the company updated the software and it has been extremely glitchy. First the good: The battery life has been great, I can definately make it through several days of light usage without needing to charge. Also when the table is connected to wifi, the transcription is quick and accurate but like any AI, it does require proof reading. However it does a great job producing meeting summaries and action items. The audio recording works fine in meeting in a small office or conference room. I have no tested it in a large meeting hall yet. Now the bad: When the tablet is not connected to wifi, it is super glitchy converting the audio file to text. At least 50% of the recordings will not convert to text and I have had to output the mp3 file and redo the transcript when connected to wifi. Customer support was useless, the rep had no clue as to the product features. It also dumps the wifi and does not reconnect when it goes to sleep if it is connected to a hot spot. The app and software user interface are not intuitive and take some getting use to . So as long as you are connected to wifi this model work well, however if you need to use it offline, this model will not save you time, it will only cause grief and create a long complicated worflow to generate meeting notes. If I had used it more during the return period I would have returned it for the larger model that works when it offline.

I currently have an iPad for most of my portable things that I do outside of a laptop. However, I found that the iPad pen wasn't really the best for writing. There are many who disagree with it, but for me, it just didn't feel right and the writing was sloppy (not that my handwriting is the best.) I bought this because I wanted something that I could have that is a bit more portable along with a more real like writing experience. I do my reviews on The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. The Good - Real writing experience, good organization for notes. While some reviews balked at the Android operating system, I like it because I could put Kindle on there. I am keeping the device relative app-free, but Kindle for some of my books was a plus. The battery life has been very good. There have been people complaining about the milliseconds delay with writing, but it does not affect the writing. There have been complaints about the size, but that is a preference. The size of the device is exactly what I was looking for. Again, the iPad is bigger and I wanted something easier to carry. I like the scheduler and task list. I'm trying to sue this to help me focus on my day, week, month for all the things I need to do. This weekend, I'm going to try out the mic and translator functionality. The Bad - it is a bit slower switching between screens, but it was my expectation that it would be so. I used it for a speech I had and made sure to click on the next button before the sentence was up. I am learning to write the speech with the appropriate pauses so it doesn't cross pages. The Ugly - Wireless connectivity. Captive Portal doesn't work all that well. In 3 different places, it said that the page needed to refresh. Connected to the phone instead. Overall, I would recommend this device. It is my recommendation for my uses. I have been very pleased with it. Will give a 3 and 6 month update.

Awesome product pack with awesome features. My favorite thing about this product is how small and light weight it is which makes it very easy and comfortable to carry around in my pocket. The note organizing and transcribing they advertise so much are actually pretty good. I tested these features with a scene from the office (yes, I do mean Micheal Scott), and it actually sorted documented and sorted out the conversation extremely well. The pen uses wacom technology which is a plus and feels great to write with. My only gripe has to do with the magnet on the side where the pen is suppose attach to when not in use kind of sucks. It's functional (barely), but the pen slips out of place and falls off constantly while carrying the tablet around. There's a line on the on the pen and side of the table which designates the magnets strongest points, but it's still not enough to hold the pen in place while in my pocket or from just carrying the thing around in my hand. Because of this, I actually had the pen fall off and landed directly on the tip of the nib, which did end up messing it up. This lacking feature leads to my other gripe. For a premium, you would think they would include AT LEAST 1 or 2 extra nibs. This thing is not cheap! It's an expensive device and they can't even include an extra nib or 2! Charging half a grand and we seriously can't throw in 1 extra nib? Really? I checked how much nib replacements are for the pen and a pack of 5 runs about $20. Good news is any wacom pen will work on this device. I tested an old galaxy note pen I had lying around and that works, as well as the pen for my galaxy tab (also works). Those honestly feel incredible to write with on this screen (maybe even better). Only problem is they don't have the eraser on the back like the pen that comes with this tablet. Moving on, last thing I have to mention I love about this product is it's a great E-reader. It's an android powered device meaning you aren't locked to a single ecosystem. You can just add books that you may have purchased elsewhere easily, which is what you'll probably end up doing anyway since, well, the bookstore for this device is kind of useless (unless you're in like, middle school or something). It really only has old literature that we all were required to read in grade school (Great Gatsby, Call of the Wild, Romeo and Juliet, etc). That being said, this is an outstanding note taking tablet. It's definitely a pricey device, so it's really hard to say if it'd be worth it at full price. For someone like me that really appreciates all the of the quality of life features it has to offer (some of that I haven't touched on too), I'd say it was worth. Then again, I snagged it while it was on sale which is what I would recommend waiting on. By the way, one of those features I never mentioned is being able to connect your email and cloud storage, which makes moving files in and out of the device a more streamlined and smooth experience. Edit: I discovered while messing around with the folio that there is a tab tucked inside the rear flap you can fold out to secure the pen with during travel.

I was genuinely excited about the iFlytek AI Note Air 2 tablet, especially given the significant positive feedback online from those who received the tablet for free (sponsored by iFlytek) now makes me wonder about potential bias in their reviews. I decided to take the plunge. Unfortunately, my experience has fallen far short of the hype. The most glaring issue is the tablet's sluggish performance. It's simply beyond slow, struggling with even basic tasks. This lack of processing power becomes particularly evident when attempting to use the advertised AI features. It's clear that the device doesn't have enough memory to smoothly handle these functionalities. Speaking of AI, its implementation is inconsistent at best. The AI features do not work reliably, frequently throwing up error messages. This unreliability makes them more of a frustrating gimmick than a useful tool. Furthermore, the speech-to-text functionality is also unreliable, frequently misinterpreting my words; most of the time, the transcriptions are incorrect. The overall OS usability also leaves much to be desired, scoring a mere 5 out of 10 in my book. Navigation feels clunky, and the user interface isn't particularly intuitive. One of my main hopes was to integrate AI into my handwritten notes, but disappointingly, there are no AI features available for handwritten notes. To make matters worse, even the basic transcription of handwritten notes is often inaccurate. This fundamental flaw severely undermines the tablet's utility for note-taking and any potential voice input. And to top it off, the tablet cover's design feels incredibly outdated. Who uses hooks to attach a cover in this day and age? It's simply not up to modern expectations. However, it's not all doom and gloom. On a positive note, the overall design of the tablet is quite nice. It feels good in the hand and has an aesthetically pleasing look. It's a good start in terms of hardware design, but the internal performance and software need significant improvement. Ultimately, while the iFlytek AI Note Air 2 might function adequately as a basic book reader, its shortcomings are hard to ignore. If I had received this tablet for free, my perspective might be slightly different. However, at a price point of $500, it feels significantly overpriced for what it offers. In conclusion, the iFlytek AI Note Air 2 shows promise with its design, but it's currently not ready for heavy use, especially if you're relying on its advertised AI capabilities, handwritten note transcription, speech-to-text, or even a modern cover design. You might find it acceptable as a basic e-reader, but for the asking price, there are likely more capable tablets on the market.

Better than expected. This is now my goto writing device/tablet. I love that I can create custom templates for whatever I need and upload them as PDF. I can email from it, sync my calendar and add new calendar entries with just the stylus. Battery lasts and lasts, screen is perfect, it works well with Microsoft Onedrive and Google Drive. At the moment I am in the learning g phase for the device and it’s a steep learning curve. Some of the downsides 1. A VERY limited selection of ready to use templates. Would have liked to seen templates for business expenses and mileage logs 2. Some of the font is too small 3. Pen- too easy to click other features by accident. Like: 1. Perfect size 2 Audio recorder works great 3. No noticeable lag between the pen and the lines in the screen. If you are going to buy this one it is not ready for prime time when it comes to day to day business was. Its role is that if a meeting g note taker. The potential is there but needs more polish.
