Arrived on time. Appears to be made with quality materials, and has some weight on it, so it feels more expensive than it was. Both the black and brown are really nice looking. It holds alot more fuel than u would think and filled easily. The flame adjustment wheel is definitely more convenient than having to find a screwdriver to adjust others for sure but it is very sensitive. The only thing I don’t really like is having to push the igniter switch UP instead of down like most I’ve used. If I have to hold it up for a longer time like lightning a stubborn incense, it is uncomfortable because it takes a little force to push it up then hang on to it. But other than that, it does the job and looks good doing it ... show more

These torch lighters look and feel nice; The finish looks nice and has no blemishes, the slide button was smooth and relatively easy, and a viewing window for the gas is always good. The flame adjustment isn't the best, but it isn't bad. I just don't like the flip-down "handle" for the flame adjustment knob. The flame has a wide range of adjustments compared to a lot of torches, which is nice. However, the piezo wire that ignites the flame was not adjusted well by the factory for either of them. Both would light maybe %25 of the time and required me to adjust the wire myself. Now they light maybe 80% of the time. Additionally, a bent piece of metal about 1" x 1/8" fell out of the end for both of them. No idea what it was for, but it didn't seem to change anything. Overall, id buy something else, but they're not bad for less than $5 each. ... show more

Honestly I don't really have anything bad to say. I was needing some smaller torches to use in some of my arts and craft projects. And honestly if I would have got a small torch lighter from a store somewhere I would have ended up paying more for just one torch. At least here you walk away with two of them for a decently cheap price. And I really don't have anything bad to say about them, because they both are still working to this day. I purchased these over a year ago, and for them to still be in working order says more to me than most items I buy. These torch lighters are also decently well made, its not like they are fully made of plastic or anything. They do have some plastic components on them, but for the most part the housing of the lighters are a type of metal. If you are in the market for something like this I can highly recommend these torch lighters for sure! ... show more

    • Don't Buy into the Review Hype

So, we've been looking for longer lasting torch lighters for a while... my wife burns through them like candy using them for her crafting. I decided to purchase these based on the overwhelming amount of positive reviews... First off, when looking at reviews, don't sort by highest rated - sort by most recent. Lesson learned. Easy to Use: Sort of? We both LOVE: the design, the shape, the locking flame adjustment at the bottom, and the fact that it's SUPER easy to fill and takes the standard butane fit. However, there is a very small degree of useable flame. Literally half of the "adjustment" just straight up doesn't work on both lighters. It has to be set at 50% or HIGHER to actually work - and that's pretty consistent feedback from the recent reviews (this is where I learned my lesson on review digestion). Value for money: Poor to Mediocre The flame is great, but it's literally a f------ jet engine. It has to be set SO HIGH to work that it burns through fuel at a ridiculously unnecessary pace. Durability: We don't have enough time spent yet to testify to the durability, but they are already showing signs of lesser performance and we're just a month in or less. The materials feel cheap so I'm not surprised to have them working less than admirably. TL;DR - The initially displayed reviews really hype up a product that just does not live up to the hype in any way shape or form. You will get about 50% of the scale it mentions regarding flame production and adjustment. Already performing at a lesser degree than on first use. Not saying it's a bad buy, the price is good - I would have just preferred to have my expectations set more realistically. ... show more
