I’ve played on multiple portable goals - this goal definitely rivals the options that are 2x the price. Assembly was pretty simple - pulled in assistance from a friend for final steps but otherwise did it solo. Nice, solid product overall. It fell partial victim to a bad storm that uprooted massive trees… only damage was to the rim and customer support was great to assist with a replacement — don’t throw out the instructions as that has the customer support contact info - Amazon support was NOT helpful for rim replacement - strung me out 2 months with no help… I then found contact info for company and had resolution and rim delivery in a matter of days. Unless you are planning to buy a $1500-2000+ option, I recommend giving this one a try! ... show more

Easy to build and sturdy product. Hardly any movement on banks etc. extremely easy to adjust the height. Mostly though, my kids decided to push it over before I put the weight in the base (my fault) slamming it into the concrete and bending the rim up. Good price for a 54' backboard. Shots off the glass rock the backboard as with any portable base hoop but it settles quickly enough. I'd say this hoop is as good or better than the name brands but this hoop fouls out when it comes to the rebounder. It won't last. I thought the rebounder was just a gimmick but it actually added a fun element to shooting around. My daughter and After 2 months of only moderate use the plastic clips started breaking. By the time the first one broke I noticed cracks in four more clips. To the company's credit they are proactively sending replacement straps. However, unless they have redesigned the clip with something other than plastic there is no point. These too will fail. Also, stretching the straps is done by a machine or with a special hand tool by the manufacturer so good luck stringing it yourself! I truly is a shame because it was fun while it lasted! In the end I removed a star for the rebounder failure. The loss of a star had less to do with the hoop itself and more for the heartache for the memory of what the rebounder once was :( ... show more

Product came ahead or schedule via FedEx (need someone home to receive it so note that). As far as sturdiness it does sway a bit but all free standing hoops seem to do this so this not a fault of the manufacturer. not recommended for Dunking. It is heavy but for obvious reason but with two people you can move it from point to point as needed. Now for assembly it would go way faster if you have a ratchet set or an adapter for the screw-gun. I however did not have those things and it took myself 3 and a half hours to put together. Instructions were clear just pay attention to how bars are bent so you don't put them on backwards. You will need a second person as it requires you to put the bottom together and then the top and then marry them together at the end. With it being a heavy product you for sure need to have a second person and a saw-horse or chair/table to steady it on while you put the pipes together. Over all pleased and they like the rebounder/passing target. ... show more

Easy to assemble and the product quality is very good, I recommend filling the base with water before installing to make the base stable more. The net that comes with it is also very good quality. My son loves this one and definitely recommend this product.

My son (age 5) has gotten into basketball recently. We wanted to get him a hoop to play on but didn't want to go the cheap route. I've seen far too many cheap baskets fall apart over time, or blow over in storms. We also wanted something he could grow with, so getting an adjustable was really important to us. This hoop has been great for us the past few months. I was able to put it together myself, which was nice. All needed tools are included. Once built and filled (we used water), this thing is a tank. Almost to the point where moving it would be difficult. The adjustment on this is super simple to do and my 5 year old is able to do it by himself. Will just warn you, this thing is huge, but again that makes it more sturdy and durable. The included target/rebounder/passer is a nice inclusion but the angle and location make it not as useable as we would have thought. ... show more
