I have always had trouble with high waisted skirts because I have pretty wide hips for my size so there is almost always a gap but I was pleasantly surprised that this skirt has none of that. It actually fit very well! For reference I’m a size 6 138 pounds. Pros: very soft fabric and light weight. Could easily be worn in both the fall and winter months with some tights. It would be easy to dress up for work but would also be really cute for fall photos! Also very comfortable. It didn’t feel too tight around my stomach. Cons: I do like that it’s light weight but definitely thinner than a lot of my other fall/winter skirts so would want to wear something warm underneath. 5 stars. I really like this skirt. It’s pretty much exactly what I expected. I ordered a small, and it sits high waisted like I like it. It’s short enough to feel short, but not so short I’m concerned I’m gonna flash everyone. I suspect it would be much too long for seasoned miniskirt wearers though. I like to wear it with fleece lined tights in the winter, and it’s not so tight that it doesn’t fit over the tights waistband. It’s also very flattering. I have very straight, narrow hips that I’m insecure about, and the fabric holds its shape well enough that it doesn’t cling to my hips and actually makes them look wider which is always a win for me. When I ordered this, I was a 27 inch waist. I’m now more like a 29 (pictures are recent), so it’s a little tighter than it was, but it still fits. It feels pretty good quality. It’s fully lined, and the fabric is thickish and sturdy feeling. I’ve had no problems with the zipper or anything like that. I will say, if you have a bigger butt, this may be a problem for you. It’s not stretchy at all. This also seems like the kind of product that would have quality control issues. Mine is great, but I can see someone getting the same product and having the pattern be pieced together weirdly. Overall, I’m very pleased. ... show more

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SKIRT! The sizing was true to size, I’m normally a size L ( I’m 5’ 6” and between 180-185lbs) so I purchased the L even after some reviews stated to size up. The material is very soft, not itchy at all and it has a nice liner inside, the skirt wasn’t thin either, very well made. It held up perfectly in the wash and then I hung it to dry.
