LOVE IT!! Assembly was easy. We did have some missing hardware but reached out to the seller and they sent a new hardware pack out quickly. Looks beautiful in my living room. And seems very sturdy and has plenty of storage space.

Just by my nature, I like to lay everything out and made sure everything was there. I couldn't even read the printing on the instructions. it was like number 2 font and smeared. I had to get my cell phone and take pictures of each page and then I could magnify it enough to just make out what it was saying. The drawings were horrible. Yes they gave you numbers but on the base and top it does not clearly denote which way everything is supposed to go in regards to the other side. Three times I had to take everything apart to flip it 180' Very Frustrating. The plastic grommets you screw the cheesy anchors into are to shallow and easily pull out. The anchors are flimsy and several of them were not made correct so you couldn't use a screw driver to put them in. The slot for the Philips was never made. Therefore, you had to use plyers to install those. Because of the grommet's and the easily bent anchors after putting together the base, it became a nightmare trying to keep them in place because the sides would fall over ripping out the plastic grommets. I had to do the common sense thing and assemble it top down to keep the sides from falling over. Not one of the steps had clear printing or could be readily understood. When I thought I had it all finished I looked at it and said that isn't right. The railing didn't clearly show it needed a piece of plastic to keep the doors from flying off the ends. So that's what those extra pieces were for! Once everything was done. It looks great! Do not buy this thinking it is light in weight. It is quite heavy and NOW is very sturdy. It matches my new flooring perfect and I am happy with the end results. My only negative thing is the instructions stink. If you do not have plenty of patience or a ton of luck, get someone else to put it together. The wood and metal accessories are very good quality and I have already receive several compliments on how it looks. Would I buy it again? Yes. I believe since I have put one together, the second one would be much easier. Total time to put together was over 3 hours. Cool down breaks included.

The media could not be loaded. I am impressed at the quality of this piece. The top isn’t solid wood so much as a veneer/laminate but it’s gorgeous nonetheless. You can hear in the video how quietly the doors glide. There is ample storage as those DVDs are two rows deep. And there are holes for cords in both the top and the bottom area in the center (the backs of both areas behind the doors are solid). The shelves are adjustable and there is no wobble even with the 65” TV on top. This comes unassembled. Building it is pretty straightforward but you have to pay close attention to the instructions so you don’t put pieces on upside down (which i admit I did twice). It took my husband and I less than an hour to put it together (even with my mistakes that caused us to backtrack). All the holes and bolts lined up perfectly. I love that the hardware comes in individual resealable bags that were labeled so there was no guesswork. I also love that you can choose to have the doors separated and expose the middle or together and hide the components. Be advised, however, that when the doors are closed together in the center, they overlap the outer openings by 2-1/2” on each side so that much is hidden behind the doors. The center storage area is about 22-1/2” tall total with 3” of that hidden behind the wood above the opening. The shelf can be adjusted to make the bottom area about 10”, 11” or 12” tall. Depth is 14” and width is 25-1/2”. The side openings are the same depth and height but just 14-1/2” wide each. We have only had it for three months but so far it looks and functions perfectly. Definitely recommend.

I have received this item. Upon trying to assemble it, I have found that 3 pieces critical for stability are missing. I emailed Idealhouse, requesting that the pieces be shipped. The response was that because of US tariffs, they would no longer be shipping to the US. They offered a $22 credit. We will construct, by hand, the missing pieces. Since it appears that Amazon only sells Chinese junk, I will pass and shop local business. I did my research on Idealhouse and found that they are an Egytian company. Unfortunately, assembly is done in China.
