Unless you're a twig, or you're wearing some good shapewear, this skirt is likely to show an "extra curve" you may want to keep hidden. That being said, the skirt is very well constructed and feels good. Looks very nice paired with a nice silky blouse!

The fabric is heavier than advertised so it looks and feels like a higher end garment. The wide elastic band not only holds the skirt in place but offers some tummy control. The length is great and the stretch in the fabric makes walking easy. This is a great color for the office and pares with you basic blouse Seams and hems are of strong construction and washing is permeants press settings. I couldn't be more pleased with how well it fits! It hugs my hips without being too tight and unprofessional. It does ride up a little bit when I walk, especially when going up the stairs or if I take long strides. That's the only con in my experience. The material feels thicker than a typical pencil skirt, and also more elastic. The quality of the fabric is exceptional and feels comfortable, and it doesn't wrinkle easily at all which saves me a lot of time after wash. The design is very basic but timeless. It pairs well with blouses or bodysuits. At the time of this review, it sells for less than $20 which is a very good buy. I paired this with a sheer shirt and nude bodysuit for a concert. I have never had so many compliments on my outfit! The skirt fit really well, the elastic is stretchy and it wore well high waisted or pulled down and longer. It is a thicker material with some stretch. I'm normally a 16/18 and the xxl fit comfortable with room for a pair of bike shorts underneath. It is stitched well and held up to a night of dancing with no issues or rips. Long enough to also be work appropriate and the little stretch helps hold in if you don't have a completely flat stomach. I love this skirt! It fits just as expected and has a wide, comfortable elastic waistband, and the material is very stretchy and thick enough so that you don't need to wear a slip as it is not see through at all. It comes in the perfect core colors to dress up for work paired with a blazer or even to dress down on the weekends with a nice blouse.
