We are impressed by how sturdy and well made the materials are. It’s a heavy piece of furniture, weighing about 50lbs. My husband used his drill to assemble and was able to put it together in about 30 mins. The little wrench they give you would of taken hours to put together with, so I highly recommend a drill. I am not good at building things and using tools but my husband is, luckily. The wheels make it easy to roll around to different spots in your home, however this is not made for traveling as it’s made to be a piece of furniture. I like the door on the side and the double doors in the front, it allows her to come and go as she pleases. We are moving soon and wanted her to have her own little house to feel comfortable in. We have a 35lb Corgidor and it’s just big enough for her to lay down in comfortably. Overall we are very impressed with the quality and look of this item and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for something a little classier then a metal cage for your home. ... show more

1st, it arrived ahead of time, so that was great!! 2nd, the set up was so easy, they even threw in a few extra hardware items. 3rd, it looks great, as for chew proof, idk because my dog behaves and does not destroy none plushie items. The design makes it tricky for dogs to chew at the wood because the thicker metal frame is flush, but the wire gage is about the same quality of a standard 36" all wire kennal. The lock mechanisms, all three do a great job. They are ergonomic. The top lift portion is a gimic for me, if anything it will become useless after repeated opening and closing. I would recommend a plastic liner, no matter how good a laminate press wood will get water damage. The large one I got fits a plastic 36 inch standard wire kennal liner. 4th the price for what it is. Only comment is, it could be a little more attractive. A crate that doesn’t look like a crate, kind of thing. Overall a VERY sturdy well made unit. Oh, and I wish the doors and opening at top were reversible. A very good value and pleasing color of wood.

It is exactly what is described, pretty decent quality for this type of thing. I wish that it either came with a custom sized mat or that you could buy one as the dog using it had some issues with fireworks. Both the front door and side door make it able to fit about anywhere and being able to open the top to get my dogs food dish is nice as he like to move it to the back corner of his crate so his little brother can't get at it. ... show more

The crate arrived sooner than expected and very well packaged. The directions were easy to understand and putting it together did not take long at all. It is a very sturdy crate and having the ability to roll it where needed is a plus. We bought two small pads that fit the bottom perfectly rather than one large pad for ease of washing. My male dachshund likes to enter the crate from the end and my female likes the larger opening. They adjusted very well. ... show more

Super easy to assemble and looks great! The only downside to me is there is nothing to protect the bottom. I have a yorkie, she doesn’t chew or try to break out.
