This seems well made. Takes a couple minutes to put together but then again it takes only about a minute more than blowing up an air mattress. It's super comfortable, almost as good as a firm mattress. I was gonna use an inflatable on top but I don't think I'll need it unless I need more R value to insulate. Just threw a 2mm yoga mat on top and it's plenty, I'm estimating good down to 60 degrees. When camping below that I'll just put the air on top. The size is great for me. I'm 5,9 200lbs and am a side sleeper. At home I sleep with a pillow next to me to place my upper arm on. The advantage of this cot is that the parallel crossbar sits about mid chest level so all I need to do is place a hoodie on the crossbar and that arm is taken care of. I plan to take this backpacking. At 6 pounds it's not too costly on weight considering that it'll double as a camp chair. Anybody who's spent time backpacking or tent camping knows that the ground is not your friend. It can pop your air mattress, suck the heat outta you, put a bump where you don't want it, expose you to critters, or leave you sleeping in a tent through creek in the middle of the night. This cot solves all those problems. I like to hammock camp but California isn't friendly to hammock campers, too many regulations. If I know someone's gonna hassle me for wrapping a strap around a tree then to the cot I go. Now it's just the cot, a tarp, and my sleeping bag and I'm good on anywhere but a steep hill. I don't know about durability yet so I'll revise my rating if it doesn't hold up. The 2 concerns I have are the cot fabric and the ABS cinch lever to attach the cross beams. They coulda made the levers out of aluminum or steel but time will tell. I did a fair bit of research on cots before I decided on this one and so far I'm happy I did.

Went on a 2 wks trip. I have a bad back and cannot sleep on soft bed. This saved my back. With only about 7lbs. It is light enough and small enough to pack in my luggage without taking up too much weight and space. Compact enough to fit in the hotel room. Easy to setup and tear down. Solid build. It will be hard for me to not bring it to other trips. Kids liked it better than the hotel beds too and wanted to take it from me. Will look to get another one.

It was comfy . Handy being able to have it low or high profile. I used it for a week, moose hunting. When putting it away the zipper on the stuff sack broke! I had folded it correctly and did not force zipper. Very disappointed in that.

I was skeptical about ordering this specific cot -because there were ZERO reviews on this product and it seemed to be brand new. I was looking for light weight & compact, easy assembly, comfort and warmth. The cot in it's bag weight about 6#. It's super light but confidently sturdy! I advise you watch the assembly video before struggling outdoors w/ no service. It takes a small amount of muscle but VERY easy set up! 3 mins tops! I don't use a pad for warmth or comfort. The first night I was cold w/ no underneath insolation & cot material is very breathable. The second night I layed a wool blanket between my body & cot. Stayed much warmer! I'm 30 and was extra comfy as a side sleeper. I slept on this cot for 6 days and felt hardly any body aches. It could be a little wider as a personal preference! But it checked all my other boxes so it works for me! Would definitely recommend :)

What we have here is a good idea, ruined by penny-pinching and the finest chinesium support legs. The cam-lock attachment is a great idea. But when I leaned over and put my hand on the fabric, and put some weight on it as I started lifting my leg, the cot leg buckled and folded under. I almost lost my balance as the fabric went limp and my hand hit the floor beneath. Crazy. I weighed 247 this morning, well under the stated weight rating. I assembled it correctly. I saw reviews that panned this cot, but the photos show it wasn’t assembled correctly. Mine was. The leg, support, upright? Anyway, it’s too thin-walled for the torsional forces it’s under. It is steel, but very mild steel. And thin. The cam locks put it under tension, and laying on it actually puts more tension on the supports, to resist sagging. Like I said, good idea. They just skimped on the wall thickness. My return is already in process. I’ll wait ‘til the NatureHike cot is back in stock.

The bag is trash. My husband has the XL and his bag zipper broke and ripped within 2 uses. I have used mine no more than 6 times and mine broke about 1 month ago. Frustratingly, the cot is also broken. One of the plastic ends has a massive crack in it which is not allowing the support bar to stay in the bracket with downward force. I weigh 160#. No one has used the cot except for a 130# friend. 2 stars because I really like the cot and the packability with the weight. I will however have to consider if I’d replace this one

I did have an issue with the first cot I received. I contacted the maker and they were great. I had an issue with one of the legs and they sent me a brand new cot right away. I use this cot for camping on the ice while ice fishing. I am limited on space and weight of what I can bring with me and this fits the bill. The cot itself is pretty cool. It packs very nicely. I couldn’t believe how small it was when taken apart but yet full size when assembled. I am 5’10” and 265 lbs. and the cot was more than big enough and supported me with no feeling of it failing. It is easy to assemble. It’s light weight when compared to some of the other cots on the market.
