I first searched on Amazon for a durable case to use for my new macbook 2020 computer, and this one popped up. After reading some of the reviews, some of them complained about the installation process and how the case closes. I can say for myself that after buying this case, I applied it very quickly onto my laptop without any difficulty. The trick is that you must hear a click or snap noise so you know the case is fitted correctly. It took me 3 minutes to install and once finished, I was able to see all of my computers ports, extend my screen all the way back without any restriction from the case, and with the added benefit of the top corners having more protection. The top corners that protrude out as one user commented, are there because they help secure the laptop in place when closed. They fit perfectly and the best of it all is the sleek design of the case and hexagon-like pattern compliments the case very well. 100% recommend, and without a doubt this is a quality case. One of the best cases to spend your money on for a good value. I still have not tested the durability of the case when dropped, but will mention how durable it is sometime in the future.

This is easily the best case I've purchased for this computer. I take it to and from work every day and use for working on things around the house. I've burned through multiple (I think at least 3, maybe 4) other cases before this one, they always crack and/or get in the way within a week or two of use. So far I've had this one for about a month maybe two, I've lost track. No damage or cracks. No issues with it getting in the way. It does over lap when closing to protect the corners even more so. And once you put it on, I have a feeling, with it being as snug as it is, it will have to be broken to take off. So be sure you like it before you proceed to snap it into place. Fits very snug and is fairly low profile for as tough as it is.

This cover was of very thin plastic and it started cracking within a few months. The cracks have become more numerous and pieces have broken off despite no rough handling. Stayed in office so can only imagine if tried to travel with it. Total waste of money.

After subjecting my MacBook Air to the dangerous pits of my backpack, I decided to equip my computer with a case to prevent further scratches and damage to its "fragile" aluminum body. This is an excellent case. It was quite difficult to first put on (kind of snaps into place, be gentle), but it fits securely. Make sure to clean your computer before fitting it in the case; annoying crumbs can get stuck in the cooling slats and are a pain to get rid of afterwards. It is extremely hardy, but heavy. Some consumers complained of their screen not staying upright, but it's not really a problem here. It does add significant weight, which sort of defeats the defining characteristic of a MacBook Air, but you will save your computer from lots of damage in the long run. And it looks great, too. Win-win; I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

Nice very sturdy, and love the design. Pretty easy to install but struggled a little with the top piece. Just have to make sure all the sides click in place. Also make sure you install it the right way, because once it's installed it's really secured in place! Overall really nice case, and love that you can still see the Apple sign light through the case.

I was very excited to buy this shockproof cover for the new/old MacBook Air 2017. I specifically tried making sure it would fit my MacBook Air 2017 13-inch laptop, but it turned out it wouldn't. The bottom part fit okay, and the top part was too big for the computer.
