I first searched on Amazon for a durable case to use for my new macbook 2020 computer, and this one popped up. After reading some of the reviews, some of them complained about the installation process and how the case closes. I can say for myself that after buying this case, I applied it very quickly onto my laptop without any difficulty. The trick is that you must hear a click or snap noise so you know the case is fitted correctly. It took me 3 minutes to install and once finished, I was able to see all of my computers ports, extend my screen all the way back without any restriction from the case, and with the added benefit of the top corners having more protection. The top corners that protrude out as one user commented, are there because they help secure the laptop in place when closed. They fit perfectly and the best of it all is the sleek design of the case and hexagon-like pattern compliments the case very well. 100% recommend, and without a doubt this is a quality case. One of the best cases to spend your money on for a good value. I still have not tested the durability of the case when dropped, but will mention how durable it is sometime in the future.

After subjecting my MacBook Air to the dangerous pits of my backpack, I decided to equip my computer with a case to prevent further scratches and damage to its "fragile" aluminum body. This is an excellent case. It was quite difficult to first put on (kind of snaps into place, be gentle), but it fits securely. Make sure to clean your computer before fitting it in the case; annoying crumbs can get stuck in the cooling slats and are a pain to get rid of afterwards. It is extremely hardy, but heavy. Some consumers complained of their screen not staying upright, but it's not really a problem here. It does add significant weight, which sort of defeats the defining characteristic of a MacBook Air, but you will save your computer from lots of damage in the long run. And it looks great, too. Win-win; I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

This product is decent, however it’s not the best fit and cheap plastic. I don’t think I would depend on it saving my Mac from damage. You live and learn cheapest is not always the best. I will stay with otter box from now on.

I have bought 3 cases claiming correct dimensions and this is the only one to fit! It will definitely protect against scratches but will NOT prevent cracks (of course). You cannot see the Apple logo through the case so that might decide whether or not you buy it. The anti-slick pads aren’t super great, they fell off as soon as I put them on but I’m not too worried about that. Comes with a USB to USBC port which is super cool! The keyboard cover fits like a glove and I’m usually not a fan of them at all. I don’t think I will use the screen protector but it is super thin! A great buy!

This is easily the best case I've purchased for this computer. I take it to and from work every day and use for working on things around the house. I've burned through multiple (I think at least 3, maybe 4) other cases before this one, they always crack and/or get in the way within a week or two of use. So far I've had this one for about a month maybe two, I've lost track. No damage or cracks. No issues with it getting in the way. It does over lap when closing to protect the corners even more so. And once you put it on, I have a feeling, with it being as snug as it is, it will have to be broken to take off. So be sure you like it before you proceed to snap it into place. Fits very snug and is fairly low profile for as tough as it is.

Well I too saw those negative comments and I'm sure they had issues with the product themselves. I'm also pretty sure they did not take the time to try and fully click things in place nor did they pay attention to the arrow sticker inside the top lid that showed which end had to be UP. All that said, I ordered one anyway. Yes there are cheaper cases made for the MacBook Air. But also remember that you pay for what you get. Yes sometimes the cheaper is just fine sometimes not so much. I'm happy with this case. Yes it took a little more to get it clicked on completely but I'm good with that. As for the comment about not being able to close the case with cords plugged into the USB-C ports, well the case is not about protecting the cords. It's about protecting the computer. See the pictures that show I'm plugged in and the lid is closed. Not all the way. It lacks about a quarter inch of being able to close completely but again the case is not about protecting the cords. Buy this if you want or not. The worst that happens is you end up returning it.

I've contacted the company in hopes they will make one to fit my Macbook Pro. This has been the best look, best functioning case I've ever had thus far. Also, the price. It's so nice to see they didn't make the price sky high like other companies who have something different. I feel the price was very fair. You need to pay close attention to the directions at first as the top portion is a little tricky. I feel like My Macbook Air is nice and protected now and while not harming it in the process like some cases do. The rubber pieces are in just the right places and I've had no problem with obstructions or over heating. So I am a happy customer, has been worth every penny I spent and like I said, I'm really hoping they end up making one to fit my A1707 Macbook Pro in the future. Nice job iBenzer!
