Description

Designed for a Modern-day Master Originally debuting in the video for Polyphia’s “Playing God,” the Ibanez TOD10N Tim Henson signature nylon acoustic-electric guitar is a bold reimagining of the crossover nylon string, loaded to the brim with performance-minded features and futuristic nuevo flamenco tone! While many fans initially mistook it for a solidbody instrument, this guitar boasts a far more traditional build than you might expect — the solid spruce top is supported with classical-style fan bracing for a touch-sensitive response that blooms and resonates with even the slightest pluck. Next, the ultra-thin sapele body offers playing comfort to rival even the slimmest of solidbodies, with two deep cutaways for the unfettered fret access required for Tim’s brand of technical playing. Finally, a set of Ibanez and Fishman electronics round out this acoustic-electric with beautiful plugged-in tones, faithfully replicating every ounce of this 6-string's rich tonal depth.Ultra-thin 50mm body The

  • Great guitar! 🎸
FocusProAudio shipped this to me the next day. So quick. Thank you for the great service. This guitar is hard to find and is sold out often. The guitar was shipped in great condition, I love the design and the art on it. It is fun to play, sounds great plugged or unplugged, build quality is really solid. Size is good, value is fine (although if you want a cheaper version of this look into the frh10n version. It's basically the same guitar without the flower art). I'm really happy about the guitar. Nice gift to myself. ... show more

  • I love this guitar!
I love this guitar! I was pleasantly surprised to see the built in tuner. In addition to being comfortable and easy to play, it’s a gorgeous, sexy, beautiful instrument with a great sound.

  • Worth it
Honestly a huge fan of polyphia so I had to and it sounds so good. The knobs for bass and treble are so sick it sounds crazy with the bass strings ringing louder.

  • Great Guitar
I have played for 40 years, this is a very good nylon electric guitar, very happy I bought it.

  • Great guitar and value, but the input fell in my guitar
Well I haven’t had it so long, just a few months, and the input fell into the hole, so they’re sending me a replacement part. Hopefully should be an easy fix. Besides that, I think it’s a great guitar. The tone is beautiful and it’s just a great guitar for the price. Tim did it right with this. As long as the input and everything maintains from here on. I guess we will see. It’s still early. ... show more

  • Poorly designed and executed, not playable and not really fixable
After having this for a while I have come to realize that this guitar just isn't worth the money. Ibanez is capable of making some very good quality guitars, but in this case, this guitar is just not good. The action is horrible, and attempting to address it with shaving down the saddle doesn't account for the fret buzz from the twisted neck. No amount of truss rod adjustment can fix a twisted neck, and there isn't enough fret to file down to accommodate the twist. The nut was cut too deep. The sound is tinny and it lacks the sound of both a classical guitar and an electric. It's attractive to look at, but it isn't worth much more than that. Out of the 50+ guitars I have in my collection, this one is in the bottom three in terms of play-ability. Poorly designed and executed. ... show more
