Description

The Axion Label was made for metal, but offers even more for the adventurous players out there. The Axion Label models feature forward-looking developments in sound, playability and looks that take performances higher, deeper and heavier. Arm yourself with the Axion Label and get ready to break some new ground. The RGD71ALMS’s 27”/25.5” multi scale provides an individual string tension to create a more “open” or “alive” tone that not only expands harmonic complexity, but also offers a more comfortable playing experience. Designed for playability, the slanted frets are matched with the player’s hand angles to facilitate quick playing. Extra-deep cutaways grant comfortable access to the neck’s highest notes. The Macassar Ebony fretboard provides a tight low end with quick response and the extremely rigid, super-thin and ultra-playable Nitro Wizard 5-piece Panga Panga/Walnut neck substantially increases sustain. The Sub Zero treated frets can stand up against the hardest riffing and string-bending. The luminescent side dot inlays make it easy for players to perform on dark stages and match the dazzling luminescent Ibanez headstock logo. The Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker pickups provide an aggressive tone and a powerful attack without excess noise. The Voicing switch allows the pickups to have a modern, active high output sound or a crisp, clean and fluid sound. Designed for both stability and sustain, the innovative Ibanez Mono- Rail bridge minimizes cross-talk between strings and facilitates flawless intonation. Gotoh locking tuners provide tuning accuracy and allow for quick, efficient string changing and the Schaller S-Lock strap lock pins hold a strap securely but make it easy to put the strap on and take off quickly.

  • Affordable and cool 7-string guitar? Yes, this is real
This guitar is awesome! I have another 7-string handmade guitar and I can tell that this one is not much worse than the handmade one. It even has advantages like multiscale and active pickups. There is just one shortcoming — frets could be stainless steel. UPS delivery was a bit difficult; they did not deliver the guitar two times but thanks to the Amazon customer service the third attempt was successful. ... show more

  • This guitar RIPS
Shipping: Guitar came in original packaging, which I was a little worried about. Everything was fine though! Came with some tools, extra parts, and owners manual. First impressions: setup was good, just needed to tune a bit. Guitar was WAY lighter than expected. Gave the body a quick wipe down with a microfiber cloth and adored it for a moment. So pretty. The paint looks different in different lighting! Playability: the frets are fantastic and the board is very fast to move around. The pickups are incredible for both high and low gain, and their sustain is fantastic. Also yes, this thing djents. I’ll come back in a bit and report and how well it holds a tune, but it has for 48 hours with no issue. ... show more

  • Beast guitar, feels amazing to play and hold
There is nothing cheap about this guitar. Tuning it was easy, tuning holds perfectly. The neck feels absolutely amazing. This axe is quite versatile for a lot of playing styles. But holy cow does it chug and djent. Clean improvs sound fantastic on this piece. That 7th string feels great. I am super happy I bought this, worth every penny. Oh, and this paint job is gorgeous. ... show more

  • Amazing!
The Ibanez, active fishman pickups make me cry tears of joy. Open strings, if you play drop tuning, will ring out for 2 minutes before they fade out. This guitar is meant for intermediate-advanced guitarists. Worth your money.

  • Worth every penny!!!
This is my 1st 7 string. Everything about this guitar really is otherworldly! Even a simple power cord sounds like death and destruction!!! Most other 7 strings have the extra string tuned to B, but not this one. It’s dropped to an A. The multi scale neck allows to drop even lower and keep string tension nice and tight to avoid fret buzz. When playing clean, the sound is rich and full. ... show more
