I was only able to print 11 photos size 5x7 and the printer is telling me it's low on ink....not good. I think that it's going to cost me too much to keep using this printer.

    • Getting very few pages per cartridge

They estimate we can print 200 pages from this cartridge. We only print a few pages per week, typical forms that need signed, etc. In other words, pages with plenty of white space. After printing about 10 pages, we started getting “low ink” messages. After another 10 or so pages, there were blank streaks. I removed the cartridge and shook it. The next page printed OK, but the cartridge is obviously low, so I’m ordering another one. I’m pretty aggravated - this is turning out very expensive per page. ... show more

This was either a refilled, used or counterfeit cartridge. When i installed it all of my wedding photos came out horrible they all had a blue tit to them. I contacted HP and they told me the cartridge was no good!! This is completely unacceptable. I Paid $35.00 dollars for nothing.

Review Update: Contacted Amazon and they are sending me a replacement color cartridge at no cost. Ordered the black and color cartridge as a set. Black cartridge worked perfectly. Color cartridge printed only a few pages and ran out of ink. I actually thought I had re-installed my old cartridge! After verifying that I had in fact installed the correct cartridge, I had to go to the UPS store to print the documents I needed for a presentation in the morning, Printing at UPS cost $50.00! I would like to clarify ...out of the two packs only 3 of the ink cartridges worked . The first black cartridge I inserted resulted in an error message telling me to reinsert the cartridge, this happened repeatedly , the color cartridge was in and OK. Finally I opened the second package and tried the black cartridge and it worked fine!! So 1/4 of the 2 packages was defective.. could I return the defective cartridge for a new one? ... show more
