Great product by far! First off the Guitar was delivered earlier than expected, the packaging looked great, and the guitar body was free of any chafing or scratches. I was very pleased as soon as I opened the box. This is way more than I expected for 200 bucks. I know this is not a top of the line electric guitar like Gibson or Schecter but you know what? It feels great, it plays great, and it looks great! The fretboard is easy to plant fingers on. The strings are a nice, looser set so it's not too difficult for even beginners to play. I will say that with this guitar you have to be careful where you set it as the tuning knobs for the B and e strings may press up against either the table or wall that it happens to be laid upon causing it to come out of tune. No big deal but the fact that when I pulled the guitar from the box and started tuning to standard it was hardly off. The distributor and delivery staff take very much care and pride in their work. I was in no way expecting it to show up almost in tune after traveling across the country! A+++++ ... show more

This is a great playing and sounding guitar for the money.And I am no novice. I have played electric guitar off and on for over 50 years. I have not played in the past two years because I was disheartened over the quality of the cheaper guitars I was toying with and getting rid of. I have had Gibsons and fenders, both real and copies. The Fender telecaster affinity I purchased four years ago was heavy and did not live up to the expectations of my 2011 American telecaster I once had. And my Mexican Fender Stratocaster would never stay in tune and was junk. My last electric guitar was a 2009 Gibson SG I purchased off of eBay which played fairly well , but it did not "wow" me, so I lost interest once again and got rid of it. Now that I have the interest to play again, I started looking at guitars again. The Gibsons and Fenders have become ridiculously overpriced priced. So....Comparing the cheaper guitar reviews online for Epiphone, Schecter, and others, this Ibanez clearly stands out. It has a great look with the walnut wood grain, (although cheaply finished). It still looks great. The two humbucking pick-ups work well together with the five position switch. And the best part is this guitar STAYS IN TUNE. So this cheap Chinese made Ibanez guitar actually sounds and plays as well as my former American telecaster. It has reinvigorated my interest in playing. My fingertips are sore. I will likely switch out the strings to a lighter gauge so I can bend notes easier, but the action is well set and I would not readjust it.. So... bottom line, I love this guitar! ... show more

My rating for the guitar and seller are 5stars! The seller shipped out the exact guitar listed. The features and description they provided was spot on! The guitar itself is EASY to play. This is coming from a beginner also. The neck is slick and easy to maneuver around on. The action was set good from the start and the frets are finished nicely and even. My gripe is with the shipping company who beat this box up containing this guitar. UPS leaves it at my garage and just walks off while I am saying hey this box seems roughed up. No response from driver and the company takes no responsibility for the damage they caused in transit. There is a significant dent to the edge of the body just above the rear strap connection point. There is also a significant ding to the headstock, which I would say is NEVER good. Again! NOT THE SELLER’S FAULT. This is damage from careless handling in transit. Craftsmanship of this entry level guitar is off the charts. With the obvious rough handling in shipping this thing has ZERO issues being played. The neck is true even after taking a shot in shipping that chipped the headstock. It plays very easily and has no issues with intonation or the action. If Ibanez’s low end guitars are built this well, I can’t wait to try out some of the higher end stuff. I have nicknamed this guitar times, as it took a beating and kept on jamming. This also makes this guitar a dang good bang for the buck guitar. You get a durable guitar, with solid features that is super playable right out of the beat up box. This also makes this a great option for beginners also. You aren’t going to waste time and money having to get the action setup. You aren’t going to waste time with anything you don’t want to. Just open it up and start learning to play. I must admit, I was a bit skeptical about this guitar for the price. I thought, well if it is cheaply made, I can just send it back. I couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. I have even tried a few songs with very low, drop B tuning, and this guitar has done great holding tune even down low. I did catch a little fret buzz in drop B, but I mean the action was never touched, so it is surprising it want horrible that down tuned. All in all, I am super happy with he seller and the guitar! Very happy with guitar. It stays in tune, sounds good, and looks good. String action is a little high but will get it adjusted. Guitar came packaged well. It is well worth the price. Guitar should work well for any skill level.

I've never owned an Ibanez but this one is beautiful. Love the pick ups and action of this guitar. It has a smaller body then normal guitars, but I think it makes it easier to handle. I suggest this guitar not only for beginners who want quality, as well as experienced players how need a up to parr practice guitar. Also I think from shopping around that it's one of the best in it's price range. Go get one now please... ... show more

I'll start off with the pros and cons real quick before I go into a more in depth review. Please know I have 15 guitars and that a overall score of 3 is not bad for a starter guitar in my world. Pros: Light and comfortable, surprisingly good pickups, 24 frets with cutaway access Cons: Cheap neck and frets prevent this from ever being upgraded to an intermediate guitar When it first came, I almost thought they sent a child size guitar. The headstock is smaller due to the 24 fret neck and it's really light. I had to take it out of the wrapping (which I hate doing incase I do have to return it) and held it up to my other guitars to be 100% sure lol. For me this guitar is perfect, I needed a replacement for a limited edition Ibanez with 24 frets that I was using as a daily. Most of the time it will be used to fiddle with while I'm watching TV. It's a good starter guitar, but it's not a guitar you could play a show bigger than a high school gymnasium with. If you are starting off and want a guitar that you can beat up and learn on, this thing is perfect for shredding. The frets feel really cheap when you first get it, but unlike other beginner guitars, it mostly goes away after you break it in. But as stated, due to the cheap neck, you'll never say drop some Seymour Duncans in it and be able to keep going. It will need to be upgraded in a few years if you actually learn how to play seriously. Very comfortable and fun to play though, so this guitar will get you there. Took 3 quarter turns of the truss rod to get rid of the fret rattle. You might need to take it to a luthier to get it setup properly if you are uncomfortable setting up guitars on your own. All in all it's a keeper. Oh and it looks exactly like the photos. Black edges with a silver flake center that looks almost all black from most viewing angles. ... show more
