I have rescued prior breeders with poor teeth from overbreeding and had difficulty finding small mini bites that were not puppy food (too many vitimins for an older dog), and not junk food. They love the taste of the lamb, which is not meal but real lamb meet, and are getting healthy.

My dog suddenly decided that he didn't like the food he has been eating for years. I don't know if it was change in the smell or taste, but I took a shot at this and he likes it. Stool is good. I think he likes the size of the kibble. No complaints. The 30lb bag is about $6 less a bag and since I have it in subscription, I save a little more - PLUS, I don't have to carry it around except from the front porch to the kitchen! ... show more

I alternate between this (lamb and rice) and the chicken and rice to give the pups some variety. They love both and the IAMS products seem to agree with them. Good price too.

We started feeding this to our dogs many years ago when they were having some digestive issues. This particular blend with the lamb and rice seems to work well keeping their stool firm.
