After reading HOURS of reviews, I decided to purchase this case for my new Samsung Galaxy s22 ultra, and I'm very glad I did. I've only had this phone cover for a week, but so far it is fantastic. I added camera protectors I bought on Amazon with decorative edges to the back of my s22 ultra, and they fit perfectly with this case. If you aren't prone to destroying phones like I am, then this case may be enough protection as it does have a raised edge around the back cameras. I am still trying to decide on a screen protector to apply, but the protectiveness provided by the raised edge around the screen is great. I am very glad I purchased this case with the raised edge. I have a friend who also purchased a new s22 ultra with a different case that was well rated on Amazon and claimed to be protective, but that one didn't have the raised edge, and his phone screen is already destroyed. I was kind of bummed at first before applying this cover, because I thought this case would be boring, but I was wrong. The black case actually shows my green phone nicely through the clear back, and if you want to make it prettier I recommend to just accessorize it with camera covers, popsockets, ect. ... show more

The screen and camera edges are raised just enough to protect the glass during a fall, which is great since tempered glass screen protectors are not compatible with it. The back material, although clear, is a bit reflective at some angles, so I sometimes can't see the green color of my phone clearly and that's disappointing. I wish they had a green color to match my phone better. It's a little slippery as well. Also, I had to remove this case twice so far, and the right edge is already slightly loose. I love everything about this case except that I can not find a screen protector that doesn't eventually peel on the corners. I have tried IMBZBK privacy screen and amFilm (both TPU) and Mowei tempered glass. All of them worked with the finger print reader. The front frame either is too tight for screen protectors to fit under without tearing. It is so close, a few mm. It seems like the protectors are standard size so they don't completely go edge to edge. I just applied a hybrid from Walmart onn brand which is the closest to fitting but the bubbles are already visible. Skip this case if you want to use a screen protector and the company doesn't offer one. Pros: nice lip around edges so S pen doesn't touch the screen when laid across. I have had this case since Feb 2022 with quite a few drops that the S pen has popped out a bit with no damage to either. Palm capture SS work but gestures for back button are really sensitive so it often will go back instead of side scroll The lip around the camera lenses is twice as deep as the lenses so they are well protected. It doesn't show in pictures or cause flashback. Zero worries with putting the phone on its back or using additional covers. The purple compliments the burgundy and has not discolored. Popsockets stick well. Buttons are easy to press and blindly use correctly. The rubber hasnt held dirt or discolor. I clean it with 91% rubbing alcohol with no damage to adhesive holding the back plastic on. Sound quality is great on video and calls. ... show more

My favorite thing about this case is the raised edge in the front. The S22 ultra used curved screen, which lead to structural weakness. This case protect the screen well. The downside is that this is a bit clumsy.
