Bought the wired version on sale at 30 dollars, and what a steal! I did the YouTube audio test and the results were pretty phenomenal, and also tried them with some 8D songs and the spatial audio was amazing. For gaming I didn't notice THAT much of a difference to my super cheap headphones, but I did start noticing some smaller sounds in Halo Infinite like the flag rustling and footsteps more frequently. Some people knocked on the microphone but for gaming I think its amazing, I went into a lobby with my friends and I had by far the best quality sound. It might not be studio recording level or anything, but its pretty darn good at least paired with my Victrix Gambit controller. The only two things to keep in mind are that the wire is pretty short, not a big deal for me as I play on controller, and the audio control is located on the wire and very small, not a problem for me as the Victrix Gambit has audio controls on the controller. The only reason I'm giving this headset a 4 star is because I generally have a larger head, and with that the headset can be a little uncomfortable after a few hours of use because it is tight around the sides of my head. Nothing wrong with the headset whatsoever. Has great connect ability, battery life, and sound quality. Definetly the best set of wireless xbox headphones you can buy for the price. I just wish my head wasnt so big so they would fit better... unfortunately this is a problem with the majority of the headsets i have tried, but honestly, is much better than most. Got these for my husband because he plays video games. Honestly, hear me out... worst purchase ever as a parent. This is why, we have three children and when he puts this on I'm the sole parent in the house. He hears nothing! I mean 2 year old crying.. nothing. Me: babe...babe... nothing! 2yr old and 5yr old arguing... nothing. I tried them on and it was loooouuuuddd! Imagine my shock when he took it and turned the volume up! It gets louder!!! He said he had to hear who is running up on him in C.O.D.. :-( What about who is running up on us irl. Anyway, he loves it and if ever I need to block out these active children of ours I know what to use. It's great for everyone else :-) great headphones!     • This is the one! My Xbox Series X saga of wireless headsets.

I went through the Arctis 9x, which had terrible connectivity, the Razer Kaira Pro, which sounded good but had intermittent connection issues and poor fitting for my head anyway, and the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2, which I liked but would drop signal altogether for 10-20 seconds at a time. The Arctis 3 was wonderful but wired. I don’t mind gaming wired to the controller on the Series X, but it kind of sucks when watching Videos. Enter the HyperX CloudX Flight, which is the absolute best wireless headset currently available for the Xbox Series X. This is my opinion of course and bears in mind the caveat of being relatively affordable, lightweight and comfortable, good battery provided you turn off the LEDS, and a reliable connection that I’d give the sound quality maybe an 8/10. It’s hard to say. Could be 999/10 since it’s the only one I’ve personally found to hold a reliable connection as it should. It’s possible I have some sort of interference but this one works regardless of that possibility. The cons for this headset for me is having to disable the LEDS to extended the battery life each time you turn it on. Not a big deal for me but is somewhat annoying. The only other major con for me that is usually a deal breaker nowadays (I’m a snob I know) IS THE MICRO USB CABLE FOR CHARGING!!!! WHY?!!! Honestly, kidding aside, I’m willing to live with the micro USB and LEDS under the circumstances. The journey is over. This is the one to get imo, and I’ll end with the mention that I don’t game online on Xbox so I don’t know or care about the mic. Right off the bat; I picked these up when I saw they got marked down to $30. I initially thought they didn't fit my huge head as they don't adjust down that low, but once I started listening I realized the fitment was fine. In use, they sound great! The bass is fun without ruining tracks and the soundstage feels pretty wide. I'm also a big fan of the design, never been too fond of the "gamer aesthetic" most brands opt for with gaming headsets, so these immediately caught my eye. I’m writing this after having these for almost exactly 1 year. Good sound and comfortable. Good job of noise canceling. I use them for my Xbox series X. I’ll occasionally have to pull the USB out and plug it back in so they’ll connect. The slide wheel for the volume quit working just recently. Have to mess with it to get the volume to work. I’ve used them a ton over the past year, so I guess I should be happy with a year???? I just wish they’d use buttons for adjusting the volume instead of a stupid wheel. Hard to find wireless headphones without the stupid wheel for volume adjustment. Might be better if it would only turn so far before stopping. Instead, it just spins and uses a beep to let you know that you’re at max volume. I might buy them again because aside from the wheel for volume adjustment, they are awesome….lol. ... show more
