  • Good headset for the money
Style: Modern
Well seasoned user of these headphones. Removable mic is a plus. Headset holds up to some rough handling and still keeps going. Battery life is quite long with auto off. Great headset, worth the price

  • Great wireless headset!
Style: Modern
Got this as my first wireless headset as I typically always use a wired device. This headset has great sound clarity (from the speakers and the microphone) and a lot g range! I can walk quite far away in my house before the connection drops.

  • Great headset

Awesome, sturdy and with great battery duration. No problem with setup and compatibility. I use this for work and play (simeracing). Mic works well you just need to put it close to your mouth. Recommended.

  • Clear audio I/O, comfortable fit, long battery life
Style: Modern
I switched over to a HyperX Cloud Flight S from being a dedicated Razer and Logitech user after my previous headset gave out. The sound quality, fit feel, and functionality is worth the cost. However, I tend to shop more on the budgeted, mid-tier end of gaming peripherals, so take that as you will. After my last HyperX headset's internal rechargeable battery (wireless) died, I decided to stick with the brand and model series. The HyperX Cloud II Core (wireless) headset has been a reliable audio peripheral for long gaming sessions and for casual, everyday use. The headband and ear cushions are comfortable to wear and don't add an intense amount of pressure if you wear glasses. I've found that I still need to take periodic breaks when the tops of my ears begin to ache, but that's probably for the best anyway. The headset features and adjustable band on both sides, and does not exhibit any slipping, which can be common for heavier headsets. Storage-wise, the ear pieces do not fold inward, which is a step down from the Cloud series' preceding models. Audio output is strong and clear, with no audio tearing or speaker buzzing when audio is turned up to 100%. I keep my PC volume to around 40 ~ 50% to mitigate hearing loss, which offers enough audio clarity to where I can listen comfortably and still hear the presence and direction of enemy footsteps when gaming. Audio input is also clear, according to friends when using VoIP communication. I've been told by them that my voice sounds significantly cleaner with the Cloud series than it was when I was using Razer, Logitech, and Corsair. The Cloud II Core features a removable microphone, with an adjustable gooseneck. I cannot fold the microphone up to be out of my face in a way that feels comfortable, when compared to Logitech's "flip-up" design. However, it's easy enough to just swing this one out of the way and I choose to ignore seeing it in my peripheral vision while eating or drinking. Choosing the wireless model, the HyperX Cloud II Core has decent range. It relies on an included USB 2.0 dongle for connection and I can still connect when I go downstairs to the kitchen, directly underneath my bedroom; sometimes even outside when I'm directly below my window. There are limitations, however, like I will experience signal loss when there are enough walls in the way. But considering that I can still connect when I'm on an entirely different floor of my home, that's pretty good. A drawback of HyperX is a pretty mid-tier, unimpressive UI suite. Their management software, named "Ngenuity," has been perpetually in beta development and shows no signs of progress. I've used two generations of their Ngenuity and the only thing that I've noticed change since 2021 is some listening mode options have been added. After the Ngenuity software's re-launch, it is visually the same as its last generation. You don't need it to use the headset right out of the box and it doesn't seem to have any role in updating audio drivers for the headset either. I only launch it if I want to check my current battery charge. In terms of battery life, I have experienced a full day of continuous use (20+ hours) from my headset, right out of the box. The longest that I've gone about using it casually on a single charge is maybe 4 ~ 5 days before I decided to plug it in. I expect the charge time to degrade over time, as is a symptom of rechargeable batteries, but I'm impressed by its longevity. My headset came with a short (6 in.) USB 2.0 to USB-C charging cable, which isn't long enough to wear the headset while charging, so I ended up swapping it out with a longer cable that I purchased separately. Overall, it's a 4/5 for me after purchasing, testing, and returning five different headsets from different manufacturers. Assuming that this headset lasts me for at least 4 years, I'll likely stick with this HyperX series. ... show more

  • Great. Excellent Battery Life and Comfortable for my "Man Ears"
Style: Modern
I bought the Hyper Cloud II on recommendation from a friend who uses the Hyper Cloud III. The three was out of stock, so I settled on the two model. The only real difference is battery life, and I do not have a proclivity to complain about 80 hours. It does seem that it takes a week and change, or two weeks of use.. around there.. to recharge the battery. The port requires a USB-C type cable. The sound quality is very good, but it isn't something you would get from the best of the line. These headphones are also very comfortable. I hate getting ridgid, ill fitting muffs that I have to take off every now and then just to relieve the discomfort. I also appreciate the detachable microphone. I mainly do this so that I do not pile food onto my microphone when I eat at my desk. I am very happy with this headset. ... show more

Bought in like new condition, and it was. I would have thought it was brand new. As comfortable as my hyper x cloud with great sound and a very long battery life. Wearing these for 8 hours I only used 10% battery. I’m happy with this headset
