This charging station is awesome. Unlike other stations, this station is lengthwise to the controllers so the are more stable on it. Controllers don't rock or teeter. I know for sure they're seated properly because I can feel them drop into place on the base. The styling of the base is similar to the ps5 styling (as of this review) also a plus if you like things to match aesthetically. The base itself is also weighted. So again, it's super stable. While controllers are charging they glow orange and when done, they stop glowing. There are no charging indicators on the base, which I don't mind. I don't like a lot of extra glowing LEDs around me. The only negative for some MIGHT be the charging method. This uses USB C to USB A (cable included) and is intended to connect to the PS5. I prefer to have it connected to a wall outlet, so I use an adapter I had lying around. It would have been awesome if they included an adapter to allow for both charging methods. This also has a 2-year warranty which is DOUBLE what the official Sony Station offers. All in all this is an excellent charger and well worth the buy. ... show more

Needed a base for my PS4 controllers (obviously) and glad I went with this one. My favorite thing about it is that the indicator makes it obvious that it's charging or fully charged. It's really convenient to have a place to put my controllers and charge them at the same time and hold them when not in use, freeing up my other cables and helping me not to lose them. It charges fairly quickly and I pretty much never have stupid dead controllers anymore. One thing I don't like the base touches the PS4 button center of the controller, so I'm a bit prone to turning the PS4 on when just trying to pop it in place, but not too often. I went from a one controller at a time set-up to two. it's great and really easy to use. I am generally careful with my electronics but just setting a controller on this generally works if you are not super carefully with setting it right on there because it settles properly. My only wish is that it was heavier because it's easy to push around when at least one controller is not there. ... show more

This charger was really designed for the Dualsense. It holds the Dualsense perfectly compared to the Sony charger. I also own a PowerA charger and that one is better than the Sony charger in terms of aesthetics but still not as good as this one. The only drawback of the HyperX charger is that it only comes with a USB cable and there is no true "charger" like the other two chargers. ... show more
