All I can say is, I’m a HUGE believer for my toddler. If you have one that doesn’t sleep well, read this! I tried 2 other brands of popular relaxation gummies for my 2.5 year old son before. They never did anything, and we stopped using them. He’s always been a really unpredictable sleeper, has trouble going down for bed, and then wakes 2-4 times every night still. I got these gummies a week ago….we’ve given him 1 about 30 minutes before bed every night. He loves the taste and is excited for his bedtime gummy. He’s literally out like a light within 5 minutes of laying down now. This NEVER happened before and he’s never fallen asleep this fast or easily before. Even if he’s screaming and jumping on the bed beforehand, within minutes of laying down, he’s out cold. He’s also not waking up nearly as much overnight…maybe 1 time and some nights not at all. Even my hubby who thinks these things are a joke is blown away. Will definitely continue to use…hopefully we can get down to using more sparingly or as needed but for now it’s helping him a lot! ... show more

I bought both the melatonin gummies and the melatonin free gummies. The melatonin ones definitely work better, but these do help my toddler settle down a little to be able to go to sleep. She loves the taste of these and takes them willingly every night before bed. We had tried a different more expensive brand prior to these that weren't gummies and they didn't work as well. She didn't like them as much as these gummies and she would play with the other brand and take forever to finish chewing them which caused bright yellow stains on jammies, sheets and pillows. ... show more

We take 2 at night. I tell him it's his night-time candies. We both absolutely love the flavor and texture. It does stick together, no biggie. Just use a spoon to loosen. They do help calm and relax us both. I love that they have no melatonin, since our bodies naturally produce it and if you take melatonin your body will stop producing it naturally.I hope they get more in soon, as they are out right now. ... show more

Was searching for a melatonin free option to help my kids fall asleep faster. I don't think this did anything other than serve as a gummy candy treat before bed. Did not notice a difference at all compared to even a low dose of melatonin which works right away.

My kiddo has a lot of trouble winding down for sleep and we don’t do melatonin cause it gives him nightmares so we tried this. He is able to fall asleep so much more easily than before and does seem to get restful sleep without being overtired the next morning. Hyland Kids Sleep Aid proves effective in inducing sleep for my 2-year-old, with results within an hour after consuming half or a full gummy. Unfortunately, the positive outcome is offset by concerning side effects. Post-administration, my child awakens in distress, disoriented, and cries intensely. He requests water and consumes it excessively, engages in sleep talking, and encounters nightmares. Notably, he wakes up fatigued in the morning.
