This solar light works all night and turns off at daybreak, and recharge the battery using the sun for charging everyday. The media could not be loaded. I bought these lights for my backyard which gets dark after dusk. The lights are super bright and cover more than 1500 sq ft area. The radar function works perfectly and detects motion roughly from 25-30 feet. Even with 30% brightness, the lights illuminate the area quite well. One of the internal nuts for securing the mounting bracket was missing. Cannot properly mount without it as it just keeps twisting. Lights seem fairly bright.

    • Good coverage and duration.
I wanted some higher powered lighting to hit some of the dark areas of my yard where lights from the main building can’t reach. These were a suitable solution. I don’t have power in those areas so I needed something solar. These charge well each day (we have a lot of sun) and last throughout the night. You can adjust how bright they are if you struggle with getting them to stay on as long as you want. These are mounted about 12 feet up. I could probably go up further and get more coverage but at some point you’ll get diminished as the light intensity won’t be as good on the ground if they are too elevated. The construction is solid. They took a pounding by some rain and even hail once, and are still going strong. Not sure how they will handle UV after a few years but we’ll see. They are pretty heavy so make sure you mount them securely, even if you have to use some extra hardware, that way you don’t have to climb up and keep adjusting them. ... show more

These lights are a little bit on the heavy side for their size and performance and they're not nearly as bright as I was expecting them to be but they do have decent battery life and charge very reliably and direct sunlight. There's a little bit of rust starting to show but it is not noticeable to anybody aside from myself because I installed it. I really wish they were lighter weight and a little bit brighter but I can still recommend them! ... show more

I needed these! My dog is afraid to go out at night, our yard is big, and these are perfect. They turn on when it gets dark and stay dim until it senses movement then it gets brighter. They are pretty big but were pretty much easy to install. I love that I don't have to plug anything in, the sun charges it. I'm very happy with how much light coverage there is! ... show more

HYKOONT Model# GS1000 (ASIN: B0BX42XF9T) PAIR (2) 1,000 Watt SOLAR STREET LIGHT is supplied with mounting accessories for flat wall/pole installation, Individual Remote for each light ( includes batteries ) and User Assembly/Installation Manual. Three Year Warranty is standard. Prior using each light, placed in bright sunlight for eight (8) hour (minimum) to charge internal batteries. There is NO EXTERNAL charging port to power or charge light system. All power from batteries integrated into light assembly. USE- requires pressing On/Off switch on light assembly and only then can Remote Control be used. The Remote Control WILL turn light On/Off after master switch pressed. Light has many use features including light active pre-set time, motion sensing, 1/2 power until movement detected then full power and dusk to dawn operation. Mounting Pole, Bracket and Mounting Hardware included for both WALL or POLE installation. The post is placed and secured with bolts. My method - place bracket over post. Place washers on bolt with lock washer next to head and flat washer next to bracket. The smooth side of washer next to lock version. Four bolts need tightened into pre-Installed nut in light assembly. Place each bolt in place, tighten three turns. After bolts inserted place post between brackets. Tighten by starting at one corner ( bottom ) then opposing corner ( top ) continuing to tighten while keeping top bracket level - side to side. Prior to final tighten the Post/ Bracket is oriented in final mounting angle. Both light assemblies arrived with charged batteries which allowed immediate check for operation. There are NO ISSUES with either assembly. The 1,000 watt light is bright with colorization and brightness levels consistent from individual light array to others.
