I bought these lights to replace some old lights on my entry walkway and tried to match the Craftsman style of the house entry light. While not an exact match, they are compatible and I think quite attractive, put out a lot of light and produce an interesting lighting pattern. They appear to be well-made and durable enough to withstand the weather for many years. Installation into my existing system was a little difficult, mainly to locate the old cable, remove the old lights, connect the new lights using the connectors provided, and wrap the connectors in electrical tape to try to prevent in-leakage when they are buried in an area subject to watering. Using the connectors is easier than cutting and splicing the cable but take quite a bit of force to penetrate the insulation of the old cable; I used grippers that worked fairly well. I'm still a little concerned that the electrical tape may not prevent leakage over time and allow the light to short out. Perhaps best of all was the low price, less than half of the alternate I was considering of a similar design. ... show more

I did not want to add yet another set of solar low light path lights that I see all my neighbors use and which really provide no safety or even nice aesthetics. These truly provide excellent brightness, have a nice diffused light pattern, and are very easy to assemble and install. I would caution that there is the possibility of bending the post when pushing them into the ground if not holding them absolutely straight facing down and using the step guard properly. I put some water into the spots I was placing these to soften the ground to ensure it was not too much hardness to force into. Threading the poles together initially is not difficult but could result in stripping the thread when overtightening. The metals are sturdy but do require a modicum of restraint when assembling and installing. They have been holding up to the elements for the past few months and we will see how they fare in winter. ... show more

The quality of this item is very good hopefully they will be long lasting as well. They are really beautiful and looks awesome in the garden against plants and flowers, very bright at night lights up a large area. Highly recommend them.

I am really impressed with those - I bought one set last year and than 2 more sets this year. They are very bright , very elegant , sturdy and easy to install. They gave elevated look to my garden and you can not beat this price for this look and quality. Great lights, I run 8 of them off of a 200watt 12dc to 12ac converter, car battery, 30 watt solar panel and charge controller connected to a wifi relay. Works great I can run them for 3-4 hours and the 200 watt converter never gets warm.
