Assembly instructions are a little wonky and they skip steps, but it's pretty easy to connect the dots. The hoops is obviously intended for younger children. The shortest setting is perfect for even a one year old to reach. It isn't the best/sturdiest. You will need to fill up the base with something to hold it down, be it sand, water, or gravel. Because it's so flimsy and easy to knock over by children. It does take some time and effort to disassemble. It's not impossible, but it is tedious, especially if you filled the base. I like the idea behind it, but the execution could use some significant improvements.

My kids were so excited when this basketball hoop arrived. They wanted to play with it as soon as possible. Assembly took a little bit though and we had to look at the instructions carefully because of the different size screws. The hoop is lightweight and would probably work better if you filled the base with water, but that's not something I would want to do and use it indoors. The balls are a little off balance, so not great for practicing dribbling. The net comes loose periodically, while the kids are practicing shooting. I like that you can pack this up and store it easily. I love that it came with 4 balls and a pump. There are holes on the backboard, so you could wall mount it, if you wanted to. The kids loved the adjustable height hoop. My kids have had a blast playing with this basketball hoop and so have I!

It is a good starting height for toddlers. Easy to assemble, straightforward instructions. The hoop includes four bouncy balls, that have the appearance of basketballs, but they are softer and bouncier. Hand pump is included. Just like a standard basketball hoop, weight needs to be added to the bottom to secure it in place. Can be placed inside and/or outdoors. Height can be adjusted as child grows.

Easy assembling I would say maybe some sand would help out more I don’t feel it’s as sturdy with the water. Works as intended more so for little little kids my kids are slightly more active and rougher with toys. Felt slightly cheaper than I expected but based off the age ranking etc I’d say it’s perfect for smaller children. Easy to put up and put away

This is a really nice basketball set for kids. It is expandable so it can grow with them as they get taller. The ball comes with is fairly durable, but it would be nicer if it was actual basketball quality. I use a regular size basketball with it and it works just fine. And that is easy to set up a construct and I prefer to fill the bottom with water. I found this easier and more sturdy than sand. This is a really nice set and it is even waterproof. I’ve left it in the rain outside and it still retains its vibrant colors. At this price this is a great Value for a great item. Thumbs up.

Good news: a size 5 youth basketball also fits the basket (see pic) I asked my teen son to put this hoop together and he finished in 15 minutes. Water in the base works well since we're using it indoors. The hoop is easy to maneuver and fairly sturdy. I like that it comes with FOUR balls plus everything needed to start play immediately after set-up. My single issue is the net and the little plastic clips that it sits in. A single portion of the net has slipped out of the plastic clips a couple of times (easy to fix). It is a small hassle nonetheless but not enough to deduct a point.
