Overall we are satisfied. I’m rating 4 out 5 simply because of some design features that I personally feel were cheaply done. Barring that it is a really cool basketball goal. I choose to mount it on the wall, opposed to the door because of the other reviews and videos that I seen of people placing towels behind the door and other material to avoid scratches. It comes with some foam padding for the corners. I use those foam padding in addition to some two sided tape to make sure that all the corners adhere to the wall. You will notice once playing on it that the backboard and the rim will bounce every time the ball hit so to avoid that I made everything flush and stick against the wall. It’s actually descent enough in size to practice ball spin, and form shooting. It’s durable, somewhat quiet (definitely not as loud as an outdoor system), and most importantly my son loves it and has been fun for all visitors.

Awful. The hooks to go over the door do not mount properly to the backboard as the holes for the screws do not align. Instructions are bad as well. My son started putting it together on his own and the instructions say to attach the pads to each corner of the backboard. He attached them - to the front. For me having done this sort of thing before I realize they need to go on the back to pad the backboard against the door, but he didn't know this. Instructions should say attach to the corners on the backside of the backboard. It looks like I'll have to re-drill the backboard holes and try not to crack it, then find some peel and stick pads at the hardware store. What should have been simple has become a project due to poor quality.

My greatgrand kids love playing in my dining room. I'm 73 I get my greats after school. This winter we all had fun playing basketball and dunk the dolls,stuff animals. It's great excise for me. I lost some weight and hand and eye workouts.
