Nice hydroponic system which will fit on just great in a countertop of kitchen table. Directions seem pretty straight forward, all the parts seem to be there. One star taken off because the listing leads you to believe seeds are included, and they weren’t. Have to buy those separate. So it’ll be a little while before I get the system up and working. But as far as I can see the design seems pretty good. I like how small it is because I don’t have a big kitchen, but this’ll fit just perfect on my countertop so I can grow some herbs and veggies. Excited to grow my own produce! Just as soon as I buy some seeds ;-)

I bought this for my planty wife as a gift, this is what we think about it (she LOVED it!): Pros: - It is a great price for what you get - It comes with everthing you need to get started, IF you have some seeds, it does not come with seeds - The URUQ store has a great selection of refill supplies that are sold in sets, not just one type of item - She really enjoyed setting up, it only took about an hour for her to get it going at a casual pace - The pump is quieter than our aquarium air pumps, and that's saying a lot Cons: - There isn't any notification as to when to add fertilizer, but my wife just sets a reminder on her phone and that takes care of that (the light and pump ARE on timers though, so you don't have to turn anytihng on or off every day) - The instructions are more toward the technical side of the device but not so much about the actual planting and growing of the plants, you do not want to fill every spot all at once, it will become very crowded My wife said that it's a great system for sure but it is not beginner friendly, she has two aquariums and a massive houseplant collection so she's not new to these concepts but it is still a fairly steep learning curve. She said that it would be a good gift at a good price for someone who is already knowledgeable about plants and also water / hydroponics. It's not something to buy at random for someone because you think they might like it.

I recently purchased the URUQ 12 Pods Indoor Gardening System, and I must say I'm quite impressed with its performance. This indoor garden kit has made it incredibly convenient for me to grow a variety of plants right in the comfort of my home. The system is easy to set up, and the remote control LED grow light is a fantastic feature that allows me to customize the light intensity and duration for different types of plants. For what it is worth, I have idoo hydroponics system too but it does not come with a remote and this does come with one with it. The height-adjustable design is a real game-changer, as it accommodates plants at various growth stages. Plus, the system operates quietly, making it suitable for any room in my home. The 12-pod capacity is perfect for growing a diverse range of herbs, vegetables, and even some decorative plants. I've noticed quick and healthy germination in my plants, and the overall growth has been impressive. It's a sleek, compact system that doesn't take up much space, making it a great addition to my home. If you're looking for a hassle-free indoor gardening solution with excellent features, the URUQ 12 Pods Indoor Gardening System is definitely worth considering. What I do not like is- how it says - gift for women- not sure why it is relegated to a women only. I cannot speak to the warranty coverage or anything, as I have not used it long enough and hopefully does not fail.

This is the second automated hydroponics system I've gotten and it's a pretty nice system. Pros: - it's much less expensive than the first one I got, which was from a well-known manufacturer in this space - it comes with everything you need to get started (except seeds) - the URUQ store has lots of accessories that you'll need over time (e.g. grow sponges, fertilizer) - it's easy to setup and get started. From opening the box to getting things planted was about 45 minutes or so, taking my time. - the pump is very quiet. Cons: - it's a little less automatic than some of the others. The lights and pump are automated and there is a low water indicator, but there's no feed cycle light. This means you have to keep your own schedule for when to add nutrients. - while the instructions are clear and well-written there is little advice on planting techniques. For example, you generally don't want to fill every pod space in this type of unit because the plants will become crowded. That isn't discussed anywhere in the manual. Overall this is a very nice hydroponics system. It's quiet, compact, attractive, and easy to use. However, it's a little bit more complex than some of the other systems out there. If you're a complete beginner to both hydroponics and gardening then you might find it a little frustrating getting setup. However, if you have any gardening experience, and especially any hydroponics experience, then this is a great little unit at a much lower price.

Got this to add to my collection of hydroponics equipment. It's a very nice-looking, functional unit with decent lighting. Relatively easy to set up and clean. Don't expect a huge veggie garden to sprout out of this thing. For me, the best use of this type of unit is as a seed sprouter and nursery to get a head start on summer/spring planting. While it's still frosty outside, you can have your plants growing and ready to transplant at the first sign of thawing. However, for cooks who love fresh herbs, you can grow a pretty abundant supply of things like cilantro, basil, parsley, thyme, etc. I haven't tried it with lettuce, but it is probably good for micro greens and wheatgrass and things like that. Solid unit. Looks good in your home. I like it. PS: Be sure to have plenty of extra grow pods and accessories on hand as it only comes with the basics.
