The growing system arrived quickly and in good condition. The instructions are adequate, but it took a little bit of trial and error to figure it out. The biggest challenge is how to fill it up with water the first time. I think that it is easier to take off the "lid" and fill it up with water, but there is no "fill" line. I think it is designed to fill it up with water through the two little holes in the lid as that is where the fill line is found. The built in timer is great and turns the light off after 16 hours. Then the light turns back on after 8 hours of dark. We realized that the best time to have the light off for us is at night, so make sure you turn on the light first thing in the morning, so it will turn off at night. I was worried I would have to remember to turn the lights on and off so I am happy with the timer. There is a setting for vegetables and flowers, which slightly changes the color of the lights. It is very convenient to be able to cap off the pods that are not needed. The description and instructions shows large plants growing after 7 days, so that is what I was hoping to see. After 10 days I am seeing tiny plants in the pods and some of the seeds did not sprout at all. It is going to take some time to learn the best types of seeds and what grows well in this system. The system seems well designed and high quality and I actually have plants growing, so I am happy. I plan to add additional pictures to this review as my plants grow larger.

I got this to my mom. She loves planting. She loved it. The price is great. It is well-built. Smartly design. It comes with two modes for lighting. Also smart water systems that makes sure that your plant gets the water it needs. Plans grow fast on this. Great for hoppiests who would like to try to plant different seeds. I’ve been wanting to try growing spring onion and herbs at home since we go through them so fast! This hydroponic system works great - high quality materials and I love that it has different light settings depending on what you’re trying to grow. It also came with plant food as well. Comes with easy to read instructions, and is easy to assemble. The only downside tlis that it does not come with seeds! The advertisement makes you assume that it does, once I buy seeds and actually grow something , I will change my rating.

Planted basil seeds to grow indoors during the winter. Easy to use the product, lights look like they’ll nourish the plants. I like how the height can be adjusted for the plant size so you don’t end up squishing the plants.
