If you're thinking about this . . . go for it! It is a TON of fun. Played with 2 of these with my son for 2+ hours without having to charge the battery. They are fast, durable, and just plain fun. They are not the easiest to turn when driving the "in the wild", but once you put them on the track, they are AMAZING!!! If you design your track to have no "boosters" on it, then these R/C cars are champions on the track. Just look out, they are fast and on some corners, if you don't let off the gas, they will just fly off due to speed. The boost button is AWESOME. If you have loops in your track design, you'll just need to hit the boost button and it will allow you to complete the loop without falling once the car is upside down. I was really skeptical that these wouldn't be very fast or hold a charge long with the size and cheap price but boy, I was wrong. My son loved it from the moment he opened it. These things really rip! And they last quite a bit for a charge, if you can keep your kid away from it long enough to charge, that is! We have even bought extras now so we can race together but myself as an adult, these are really fun to just toy around with. I often catch myself checking back to their website to see if there are any new ones! Hahahah. I'd really enjoy seeing some kids cartoon collaborations or even some of the Barbie cars getting an RC version. Buy one today! ... show more

    • Super fun, but test when you get it and be prepared to return
Super fun! The turning is controlled by the rate of rotation for the back wheels so it's a bit different than you might expect thus quite 'twitchy' steering on the floor - but easy to do endless spins - and steering doesn't matter if you put in on the track. Downsides is it is a cheaply made product and quality control isn't there. When you get it immediately test it out, then charge it all the way up (only takes 20+ minutes) and test it out some more. It seems like most QC issues crop up fast. I.e., it won't connect, it keeps going forward regardless of what you do to the controls, it stops after a short time even though you just charged it, etc, etc. There do not appear to be any 'fixes' available, so you want to be able to return it for a replacement. The batman one seems to have the most complaints about QC when I was looking at reviews for whatever that's worth. Improvements for Hotwheels next version: Use mini-usb or similar standard connector to charge the car for goodness sake. Have an LED ring on the bottom of the car that shows battery charge status. The controller charging thing could still be available just pick a standard connector. Have some kind of turning sensitivity control so pushing left on the stick doesn't immediately start doing 360s. ... show more

It's a fun little car, goes pretty fast for the size, do keep in mind it is indoor only, outside will ruin the wheels. I had a load of fun with it !

For the size! This little car gets around. I got it for my husband and he plays with the cats with it. Is it like the full size RC cars, no but for its size and the price, it’s impressive! I’m glad I bought it!
