I purchased this as a gift for my wife and she loves having it in the kitchen! It is very elegant in design and simple to setup. Just open the box follow the instructions and you are up and running in less than 5 minutes! I looked at many other competitors and for the price they were charging you don't get as much as you do with this counter top herb garden. Update- GROW Tip: rehydrate the grow sponge then DISEMBOWEL it by removing the bottom plug. Get rid of the fertilizer inside. I’m guessing this amount of fertilizer is too much and the sprouts get burned and dies. My sprouts Now proceed as you would any hydroponic kit sold on Amazon and feed it A&B fertilizer when it gets true leaves. SELLER: just replace the sponge with regulars ones without fertilizer pellets and watch your reviews improve.2025/11/07 Original post: This 6 pod kit includes the unit and soil sponges to get started. It doesn’t include plant food: hydroponics fertilizers part a&b or seeds. I appreciate the solid build, clean lines, bright LED panel (no red/blue, just white). The unit has no water pump like other units out there. The kit requires larger grow sponge that can be purchased at significantly higher price than the more common small cones sold in abundance on Amazon at the moment. Despite the drawbacks, I took the chance on this unit due to the sale price of fifteen dollars. The concept is great. Small enough for my needs, easy to put together and a good price point. Assembled well, but the grow light NEVER went on. I made sure all the connections were correct and had my husband double check..all correct. Called Customer service..."they will give it to technical support and send me an email." I don't think so... I will buy another hydroponic garden as I had one un the past (oved it but didnt make it in the cross country move}, but it wont be that brand. ... show more

Product was delivered quickly and in great condition. Our Serenelife came as pictured and we are currently setting it up. Everything was included and easy to assemble. Fingers crossed we get sprouts in a few days. I will update in a few weeks. I’d definitely recommend this to a friend.

Just received and set up my Indoor Garden. I was very pleased with the quality as I opened the box and put it together. The only hiccup was knowing what to do with the indicator because there are no instructions pertaining to it. With my husbands help we figured out where it goes. Need to update your instruction manual or at least include a paper explaining where it goes. I was told if I filled out the registration card right away I would receive more pot inserts but never did. Also, after having it for a few months, it's a lot harder than I thought to grow herbs. Either too much moisture or not enough - mold grows and gnats - then it dies. I finally have a small basil, dill and oregano plants but they are small. I would probably not buy this again if I knew then what I know now. ... show more
