Description

HydroMist F10-14-011 is an oscillating fan with 3 Fan Speeds located on the cord- 3500 CFM, 4200 CFM, and 5100 CFM. The integrated chrome fan guard has the capability to be easily retrofitted for misting. The 18” wall mount fan is quieter than most outdoor fans. The white noise is more soothing than annoying and can easily be talked over. The tilt ratchet system allows for easy tool- free vertical adjustment. HydroMist uses premium-quality weather-resistant electrolysis nickel plating on the oscillating fan. The fan blade is constructed of hard resin. The entire fan and bracket has a scratch resistant smooth finish. The packaging includes a wall mount bracket and anchors for both wood and concrete installation. HydroMist F10-14-011 is excellent for residential or commercial use including warehouses, outdoor kitchens and living spaces, garages, restaurants, etc. The 0.15 HP, 1.5 Amps fan has 1 year manufacturer warranty. HydroMist fans can be used in a completely open aired environment. Cleaning is also easy; simply hose down to wash with a mild detergent and rinse. The fan also comes with a weather-protective black vinyl cover to protect from dust, sun, bugs etc.

This fan is great! The best things about it are: You can install easily and remove when not necessary to use. It is very powerful. It is very quiet. Well packaged and well designed. My only negative would be it's not the most attractive (not terrible,) and I had to spray paint the grate so it would blend most seamlessly. Overall, I have a neighbor who doesn't clean up after their dog regularly in a dense neighborhood and when it gets above 70 degrees it creates flies in my yard. The media could not be loaded. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I LOVE this fan, and couldn’t be more thankful we found it. We have a neighbor who just moved in next-door that smokes all the time on her back porch (which is very close to ours). My son and I have strong reactions to cigarette smoke so I’ve been panicking about the situation. This fan saved us!! It’s powerful enough to blow most of the cigarette smell off of our porch, and allows me to sit outside, even while she’s smoking. Yes it’s loud, but I think that should be expected for a fan this powerful. I love that it oscillates and that it even has the option to add a misting ring. It’s sturdy, it came well packaged, and even has a rain cover which I appreciate. We’ve only had it a few days, but it seems so well made I expect it to last us a long time! We live in Florida, so the amount of air that this fan pushes out is very helpful in being able to enjoy our porch even on the hottest days. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I searched for many fans.....came across this one. More money then I want to spend. But for such an amazing fan and great look the money was well worth it! The fan is very well built does not shake or vibrat. Puts out a lot of air/wind and is quite. The fan does not look cheap......it's very well built! It's mounted on a exterior wall under a soffit. And it also comes with a cover (that's cool).. The on and off switch comes with a mounting bracket for the wall. So over all I am very pleased with my purchase. Bought this on a used deal. Packaging was about what you would expect it would look like when someone takes it out of the box and then when they decide they do t want it, just chuck all the parts back in the box. The box wasn’t in great shape after making the rounds a couple of times. The product does seem to be in good order miraculously enough. It’s interesting that they sell this as a misting fan when it comes with nothing to deal with misting. Only thing I can figure is that it has a recess in the grill to handle the watering tube and ‘maybe’ is less likely to rust from the moisture? Definitely heavy duty construction so short of dusting it should last for awhile. ... show more

This fan was expensive so my expectations were extremely high. I actually didn’t expect the fan to be of high enough quality for me to feel like the price was a good value for the cost but I am pleasantly surprised so far. This fan blows a serious volume of air while not making very much noise. We can carry on a normal conversation at the table without having to raise our voices at all. The only thing I wish is that they included a bracket which allowed for mounting on the corner of a post rather only the flat side. I had to use a torch to heat the included bracket and reshape it then repaint it. It was a lot of work that really should be avoided by them providing a better bracket. In spite of the short fall with the bracket I still am giving this a five star rating because the quality of the motor and construction are exceptional. I will come back and modify the rating if anything goes wrong or stops working. **updating after a couple years and this fan is just as good as it was brand new. Absolutely top quality ... show more

Pros: - Oscillation works very well and is a good range - VERY powerful. This thing is a beast even on level 1. It’s probably too power for my back patio, but we love it! - Outdoor rated! - Can add misters to it. - Looks fancy and professional - Can be retrofitted to mount upside down (There’s another review that goes into how they did this - thanks person for that - your notes helped us! My dad did it for us, so please don’t ask me how!) - All your guests will be envious and ask you where you got it. - Has kept flying bugs at bay when it’s on. Yay less mosquitoes! - Dad says thanks for giving him a comfy cool spot to hang out in the So Cal summer heat. (Folks live with us now.) Cons: - Might actually be too powerful for smaller spaces, even the 18”. - Would be nice if it had an integrated mist option. We got a separate one, and using all the nozzles practically watered the back garden. We had to reduce to 1 nozzle. This would also make the mist easier to turn off and on. - Controls are a little bigger than they need to be. Looked for a while, decided to take another flier. Arrived fast, well packaged, and heavier than I expected. All good things. Install is pretty easy. Hooked mine up to a Wyze outdoor outlet to operate remotely. Fan worked fine, Wyze did not. Fan pushes a lot of air. Can't imagine using the third setting. Would be something along the lines of HURRICANE FORCE. My only 'wish' is a touch wider arc or maybe options on the wall-mount post to allow for a slightly off-center set-up. Niggling considerations. Fan is terrific and better built than I was expecting. Like the title says don't hesitate. It's worth every penny. ... show more
