Works but certainly not the best, price reflects that. You are getting a lot of value here, but cost have to be cut somewhere. You could easily spend over 1K for a quality unit like this. This puts out 2200psi, the work you get out of that will depend on the cylinder size you select, be sure that your cylinder will not require more than 8qts of fluid at full extension. The wireless remote does work, not long range, but certainly good enough to work around a dump trailer or something similar. A set of hydraulic gauges would be beneficial to set the relief valve. Installation is easy, just bolt down, wire up and install hoses, unit is fully assembled.

It doesn’t come with any instructions and the controller is in a foreign language. Once I figured it out and got it going it did ok for about 3 months and then the body of it cracked and bled all of the fluid out.

At first I was disappointed because I ordered it thinking it have a wireless remote. It shows in pictures and talks about wireless remote in instructions. I received it no wireless remote. The company making it right. For future reference it only comes with corded remote

First a disclaimer. I am doing this review based upon a careful examination of this hydraulic pump and its controls, along with a bit of research. I have not tested, nor have I installed it since the project I ordered it for is not complete and it will be some time before I am finished. I'm doing my review now in order to keep my Vine program commitments current. That being said, I'm confident in giving this hydraulic unit 5 stars for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is price. I mean, we're talking about a double-action, 8 qt., 2200 PSI pump and reservoir, with both a wired and wireless remote control for $180 at the time of this review. The manufacturer of both the pump and its controls is Hebei Renheng Hydraulic Machinery Co., Ltd., Sujiazhuang Industrial Park, Ningjin County, Hebei Province. China. This company does around $10M annual sales around the globe and has been in business for about 10 years. They specialize in hydraulics and control and have an excellent reputation. It's easy to find their website and contact information. A "chatbot" offers to help as soon as you access their site. Since most of the components of this product have part numbers, and some even have serial numbers, I'm assuming that replacement pars are readily available, but I haven't tested that assumption. This particular pump is marketed under various "brand" names and with different options and at different prices. If you look carefully throughout the Amazon offerings, I think you'll find this unit very competitively priced. As for the pump unit itself, my opinion is that it is high quality, considering the price range. Both the mechanical, as well as the electrical and electronic equipment seem to be well-manufactured. The electrical enclosures, PC boards, connectors, switches, and wiring are impressive. The labeling, both internal (PCB) and external is primarily in (universal) English. The pump body is aluminum, and the castings and machining seem to be of good quality. There is residual oil in the unit which leads me to believe it was tested before it was sold. The hydraulic fittings are JIC and not JIS, which would mean that consideration was given to the intended market. It appears to have a pressure adjustment. Etc. etc. On the down side, there are no instructions or literature of any type. Consequently, you're on your own as to how to use it. There's no indication of a warranty or anything else. Just manufacturer's name and part numbers. Still a great deal in my opinion.

This worked PERFECTLY for my use case. I ended up using it to drive an actuator on my 20 ton press (Yes, the HF one). A little modification to the press and now I have a powered up/down press that does everything I need it to do. Plenty of power to drive that little actuator. I can't comment on it's ability to do what it's intended for, but for the price, ill take this any day!

I ordered it because of the wireless remote. But sadly even that doesn't work half the time. It's not strong enough to lift my dump trailer even when its only a ¼of the way full.
