Terrible instructions but great purchase
Bought this so I can load appliances in my truck on my own and it works great. Installation sucked though. Like other reviewers noted, a couple hardware parts were missing but they were the type of pieces that I was able to find in my box of miscellaneous screws. There is an entire page missing from the instruction booklet on connecting the chains to the hydraulic jack. The manufacturer's customer support was able to solve the mystery for me and now I'm very pleased I made this purchase.

Good piece of equipment, a bit of a challenge to put together
A bit challenging to put together but once it’s done this is a workhorse. It is very heavy but moves smoothly and easily on flat surfaces. It takes quite a few pumps to raise the load but it does a great job and saves your back! One tip…the button to lower the load is under the small bar on the lower back. Once you have a load pumped up on the machine and want to lower it, just keep your foot on the small bar and it will lower it down slowly.

Make sure you have some round files and a little time to correct the misalignment of the screw holes that connect the back and the bottom of the lift. As others have stated, the instructions are lacking. I'm not sure I would trust this unit for a full 440 lbs. load and off balance loads may be also be a little dangerous. The lift is on the small side if you want to lift larger generators and snow blowers. With some careful rigging it could be done. With all of this said, where else are you going to get a lift that can load a heavy items into your pickup truck for this price? This unit can be easily loaded into a pickup truck with small ramps or lifted/dragged in if you can handle the weight. One of the more important features is the large wheels on the back. My more expensive heavy duty unit can only move on concrete or smooth asphalt. moving it over grass or gravel is not an option. If you need to do regular lifting/loading, buy a commercial unit for several thousand dollars. If you like to tinker and do some occasional lifting/moving this is a very economical option even with the questionable quality control and limitations.

Check these 4 bearings (2 on each side of each yellow wheel) before you assemble and use.

seems to work fine, but the quality of the rear wheels are suspect, those plastic wheels that house the bearings are weak! This will not take ANY abuse. We got ZERO help from their customer service with the bearings, lots of back and forth and requests for documentation but no help, I suspect they were trying to drag me out of my return window, I ended up calling Amazon, and their solution was to send me another full unit (just needed the bearings replaced) On the first shipment, 3 of the 4 bearings are bad, on the replacement 1 of the 4 were bad so we JUST were able to get 4 good bearings from two shipments... if you get this, watch my video to check them before assembly and be prepared to get better ones shipped out until they improve their supply chain.
