I must admit, I was a bit intimidated by the weight when I picked it up from our porch- I'm a pretty strong girl and I struggled to lift and push this in the house. Pretty amazed how a queen sized spring + memory foam bed managed to get squeezed into a roughly 10"x10"x75" box, and I was scared at the thought of unpacking this tightly bound and wound monster (I've seen the videos of people getting violently smacked by their vaccuum-sealed mattress as they cut it out the packaging!). Thankfully, there was none of that. There is an outer plastic that lets you unroll the mattress while still flattened, and the 2nd plastic is what lets it finally air out and expand. It only took 3 people to get it out the packaging (2 to hold up the mattress and 1 to remove the plastic from underneath). The mattress itself is supportive and cushy, no chemical smells, but I did deduct a star for the edges having a lot of give- like you'll easily slip off when sitting on the edge of the bed. TL;DR: In my nephew's words "so soft, so comfy like a big pillow". This mattress gets all the thumbs up from this lil man.
