Love this product. I'm a nurse and I was able to assemble myself. Everything was included. It's sturdy and will outlast me...its made of bamboo, a very hard wood. I had to eliminate my box springs due to a dust mite allergy. This is a great replacement. Can't beat the price!

Now that it’s assembled, it seems sturdy. However, when you attach the metal piece that has 4 arms sticking out from the middle, to the sides of the bed frame, the sides cave in. See pics. My handyman had to go to his shop and cut off the ends of 6 slats. Kind of annoying. Not very attractive to look at either because it’s crooked on both sides. I had this all put together when I realized the bow in two of the sides. The metal frame was too small, about an inch on all four sides caused the wood to stress and bow. When disassembling, the bamboo split and stripped it's layers. Poor quality control. Going back.

This bed frame and support comes in a big cardboard box which protects it well. All the pieces were wrapped in bubble-wrap and undamaged. None of the pieces were missing. It assembles fairly easily and can be done by one person, but two people will make it a lot easier. All the nuts, bolts and washers are covered in machine oil making them a bit messy. Your hands will be totally dirty by the time you are finished. I'd recommend wiping them down after you get them assembled to keep the oil from transferring to your bedding. Also the nuts and bolts which hold the metal support in the middle of the frame can be a bit of a pain to get started when the frame is in the proper position. It's not a huge problem, but it is a slight frustration as you have to squeeze the parts together and work the bolt to get it to catch. You'll want to leave all the bolts slightly loose until you get everything assembled so you can hold all the joints together tightly when you tighten the bolts for the final time. Don't do like some of the people here in the reviews and put it together wrong. The side support legs on the middle of the long and short sides don't go on the outside of the frame. They go on the inside. If you put them on the inside the sides of the frame will not bow in when you install the metal support frame. My pictures show how they should look. My issue is I'm concerned the wooden slats aren't quite big enough to really support the mattress without breaking. They are only about 1/2" x 1" wide and I'm just not sure how strong they are. I've had box springs with thicker pieces of wood in them break just by sitting on the mattress. These slats are thinner than the wood in that box spring was. Only time will tell. The spacing on them is close enough that there aren't any low spots or dips in the mattress when you sit or lay on it. We got this for a Queen size mattress and it fits in the frame just right. Just gotta learn to be careful when walking close to it. The corner legs are shin and toe magnets. Three people in my house have already bashed a shin or toe into them at least once in the few days we've had it. *** Update 03-July-2023 *** After having used this for a few weeks, we haven't noticed any of the supports showing signs of cracking or breaking. It seems like they may be up to the job of supporting a Queen sized mattress and the approximately 350 lbs of people on it. ... show more

I am rating this four stars simply because I have something extremely similar which was priced about $40 cheaper. This is a quality piece, sturdy, assembly is easy with two people. It's very pretty and a great design, but a bit overpriced in my opinion.

Overall this bed frame is amazing. It took a while for it to come but Its worth it. Starting off the box it was delivered in was a bit beat up but thankfully nothing was broken. Unlike other bed frames that I've put together, this one had more pieces and so it does take a bit longer to put together but its not more difficult in any ways. I would recommend a second person though just to keep the pieces together to screw in. The only thing that i think could be better is the feet. I have hardwood floors and the first thing I noticed was how easy it slides against the floor, but it can hopefully be fixed with some pads on the feet. There is a round bit on the feet but its more so not to scratch the floor than grip. Overall thing is a great bed frame and I recommend. ... show more
