This product works very well. The alligator clips are large and will grasp on to large wires or lugs. I have used several of these and none have broken yet. Very good value for money and it is especially useful on rooftops. I have used this much more than I thought I would have as a hvac technician. I've purchased this and the contacts on the inside of the female plug are too far back so when plugging my vac pump it doesn't reach so it doesn't make contact and won't turn on I used my volt meter and had to force my probes in the plug to get meter to read 120 volts so thought it might have been the male plug on my vacuum pump so I tried a vacuum sweeper Same issue So I thought maybe the one I have is defective so I returned it got another one same issue so I kept it anyway cut female end off bought another female plug and wired it myself been fine ever sense. Not sure how this got 5 stars after the experience I just had not a big deal ... show more
