This is a nice product if you’re not looking for firm, just too soft for me. I’ve cut it in half and going to gift it to two homeless people I see sleeping in the sidewalk, I know this will make their day and hopefully keep them somewhat warmer in the winter.

I don't believe it was made with cooling gel or whatever they use. There is no "cooling", hell I'd argue it generates more heat. I bought this for a daybed and was sitting on it watching TV and noticed almost immediately that heat was radiating up and making me feel hot. I've never experienced this sensation while sitting. This topper feels like it absorbs heat and reflects it back. I'm really not kidding. I tried sleeping on it.... literally after a few minutes I got up and took it off. The mattress alone is cooler. Won't be keeping this. I'm a hot sleeper and this thing made me feel like I was going through menopause. ... show more

I bought this pad for my cheap mattress that came in a box. The mattress was starting to get really hard and cut off circulation to my limbs when I laid on my side. It exacerbated my insomnia so I was desperate to find an inexpensive fix on a college student budget. This mattress pad has worked wonders. It makes my cheap bed feel expensive.
