The Huplay Rookie Small Basketball Set (Adjustable version) exceeded my expectations. It's made of high-quality plastic, is sturdy, adjusts to a good height for our 4-year old, and has discreet, tasteful colors. While the net was a little challenging to thread through the holes in the hoop, the overall assembly was simple and we were able to start playing within minutes. The included 7" ball is easy for small hands to hold and is bouncy and lightweight, allowing for quiet dribbling without disturbing our downstairs neighbors. Huplay customer service is also excellent--kindly offering to send us extra balls within an hour after I emailed them about buying more balls. Our 4-year old loves his new basketball hoop, and so do his mom and dad--which is why we need the extra balls! ... show more

We received this as a gift for my sons first birthday and almost a year later, we have played on it every day! But what I love most, is that the black frame doesn’t stand out in our house, as we currently have it set up in the living room area. I honestly wish they made more sports toys!

I bought this to replace an older Fisher Price set-up that served us for years. We play in the pool, with the hoop hanging over the water, moving it to the shallow end for the kids, and the deeper end for the bigger bodies. No metal parts is a plus. But the ball that comes with it is a joke. Feels like a balloon instead of a basketball. I bought three mini-basketballs (seven inch, pop-a-shot type). They are heavier and slightly larger that the ball that came with the set up. Makes it a little more challenging and more fun. ... show more
