    • Makes Pinging Noises

I have received two of these, first one had really bad noises coming from the springs inside the switch, and then Amazon offered to get me a second one and "test" the product if it will have the same problem and return the other. Now I have the second one and it does it with different keys. I can fix this but that would mean desoldering and replacing the switch and soldering on the new one which I'm not that skilled at soldering in the first place. I got the brown switches to reduce noise not add new and different noises... ... show more

When I asked my grandson to review it, he told me the "W" key is already hanging up. Apparently this is the key he needs to walk around. He still likes it, but I would have to say that if a principal key is acting up in less than a month, you might want to think long and hard.

It’s very compact, so if you have small hands or don’t have a lot of desk space, this is ideal. The only issue is that because it is compact, the natural layout is much different than a standard keyboard, so it might take some time getting used to the key placement. I got my son this for gaming. He really likes the feel of the keys and thankfully they’re not too loud as he plays on this several hours at a time. The lights are bright enough to be used as a nightlight.
