As with almost everything these days, the directions are either ridiculous, have poor grammar or both. But the nice thing about this set was they also included a link to their youtube assembly video if needed. They also included a little rachet to aid in assembly so you wouldn't have to twist the obnoxious Allen wrench two million times. At any rate, once assembled as you can see with the pic I included, they look great and they really class-up the place. A previous buyer complained about the thickness of the cushions, but they are, IMHO perfect in thickness and comfort. The wicker feels like a very good quality and should last many years, ours are under our awning and free from direct sunlight and the other elements. We replaced our powder coated chairs you just sat in, but these, you can rock/glide and swivel in. So far (day two) we're really enjoying an excellent quality set of chairs. 5 Stars all day long for quality, sense of durability, easy to assemble and comfort.

These chairs came in 2 boxes from FedEx. First box came on Wednesday and the second came on Thursday, the seller sent me an email explaining this beforehand, so it was not a problem. Putting them together was a challenge by myself, the instructions were only helpful to show what hardware to use where and a general idea of the orientation of the separate parts. If you are handy with tools, you won't have any problems, if you aren't be prepared to cuss alot! It took me about an hour or so to assemble the first chair and around 30 minutes for the second. I had to undo and reset several sections twice on the 1st chair due lack of instructions. There is a learning curve! All in all I am happy with these chairs. They are very comfortable, since I am 6' 5" and weigh 265 lbs, that's saying something. The cushions are pretty nice, they come vacuum-sealed to conserve space during shipping so don't judge them until you take them out and allow them to go back into shape. These are glider chairs and not rockers like some have said. But they glide and pivot fairly smoothly. Now understand, these are not "top of the line" rattan chairs that you pay $1000 a piece at a patio furniture store, but for the price they seem to be good. I guess only time will tell if they last for awhile.

Bought these for an enclosed porch. The materials were durable and the gliding/rotating motion is wonderful! Cushions are nicely plump and comfortable, and assembly instructions were clear. This set is well worth the cost, IMO.

Let me start with the good news: these are genuinely nice chairs. The swivel rocker motion is smooth, they're comfortable to sit in, and they look great on the patio. If you're judging strictly on the finished product, they're a solid set. Now the bad news, and it's significant: the assembly is horrendous. The pre-drilled holes simply do not line up. This isn't a "tighten it later" situation, you have to be genuinely handy and willing to improvise workarounds to get these together at all. I figured it out myself, but anyone expecting a straightforward bolt-A-into-slot-B experience is going to be frustrated fast. What really tells you something is an entire page of the manual is devoted to the Q&A about holes not matching up, hardware not aligning, and what to do when pieces won't connect. When a manufacturer dedicates a full page to the probability that your set won't fit together properly, that's not a reassurance; that's a warning. The odds of getting a misaligned set are apparently high enough that they actually planned for it! Take a look at the photo. And once I'd muscled through the assembly, I found several spots in the wicker that were already worn and frayed. I had to apply wood glue to the rattan myself to stop it from breaking and unraveling further. On a brand-new set, I shouldn't be doing repair work before I've even sat down. Bottom line: if you're handy, patient, and don't mind doing some unplanned troubleshooting and minor repairs, you'll end up with a comfortable, attractive set of chairs. If you want furniture that just goes together the way it's supposed to, look elsewhere. Buy with your eyes wide open!

The first one took me most of the day to assemble. The second one took two hours and that’s with no help from anybody. Most of it you can do by yourself. The front panel is something you will probably need help with. I might also suggest that you come up with your own 10 mm ratchet to save you some time. I will say these are very well built. Package arrived at my front door and weighed 100 pounds. The only drawback or fault I could find was one hole didn’t get drilled and that took me an extra two or three minutes to remedy. All the other holes lined up very well I was surprised. Other than that they are comfortable I might say the cushions are a little on the thin side, but that doesn’t bother me. Can always get different ones.

I like the chairs thus far haven't had them very long. They seem sturdy enough. I bought covers to protect them and help them last. I love that you can swivel to speak to others or rock back and forth as I am a little hyper at times. I do feel it was a good purchase. They are a tad heavy for me to lift but that feature also makes me more confident they won't blow away during a storm. I do recommend covers to protect them as they will last a lot longer if not subjected to the elements day in and day out. Bought covers on Amazon I believe. Just have to measure the size of the chairs for the covers.
