Not very portable but very soft and comfortable. Even rolled up with the strap it's humongous and I need my husband to help me move it around the house because it's too big and unwieldy for me alone. The padding is nice and thick throughout. My kids love it so much they slept in it their entire spring break on the living room floor and spent pretty much the entire day laying in it playing video games and watching tv as well. They didn't want to get out of it. The blanket that comes with it is very small and skinny and not super long so it can cover one shorter adult fully but doesn't have a lot of extra room on the sides. I've had my small dogs (pug and pom), fennec fox and kids sleep in this with me and they all loved it. I managed to squeeze myself and a 10, 8, and 6 year old all into this together comfortably.

My kiddo (10yo) wanted a human sized dog bed and after earning cash through chores, we bought them one. It's large enough that it covers the entire surface of her double bed. It comes with a comb, to comb the fur, which is actually harder than it looks and feels like you're breaking something when you use it, but that might just be us. The kiddo only wants to sleep in it and has for months, but also wants someone to lay down with her as she goes to sleep. We have to coordinate when we lay down in order to make sure that I'm actually in the bed or else I'm laying on the raised edge. At this point, due to this, the edge on the one side of the bed has been flattened and we haven't been able to "reinflate" it. It is very comfortable once you're in it, and the kid loves it. You can fold it up and it has handles to carry it to other locations, but even with folded, it still takes up a lot of space. I don't know where we'd store it, if it weren't on the bed, just as an FYI. I don't know how long this is going to last, tbh. I don't know if the kiddo will be sleeping in this until they graduate or what. We shall see.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Our shepherd needed knees surgery for a torn ligament. We bought this bed when we told we would have to keep her confined to one room for 8 weeks for recovery. We all love it. We’re able to sleep with her and she can snuggle up to us at night. Our kids love it as well. It’s very soft and comfy. Our other two dogs love laying in it as well. It also has Velcro to allow you fold it up for storage. We’re very happy with our purchase! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a comfy human dog bed.

My dogs are 130lbs each, 3ft (+) long & 2ft (+) high. I am 5'4". They can fit together or one and me; if the three of us are in the bed... you guest it - i am squished. I do agree with some of the reviews stating the sides do not stay up...but several reviews provide the solution. I took the time to make sure the edges where tucked correctly, and even with my dogs the sides still maintain the upright position. What i did not see mentioned in the reviews, was the pocket on the side, not sure what you'd put in there but who doesn't luv a pocket. A few negatives (1) the pillow did not last. (2) is a future negative the fabric will likely not last for years. Dirty dogs (washing) and heavy play (pulling it around or rough play). Sure you will get more than one but if you are looking for a barker bed-this is not the investment for longevity. If you have a shoe chewer (your smell will be in the fabric -they will chew) or a puppy still learning (chews on stuff still) - I would not recommend or I would wait for some maturing. If you are looking for a bed for a senior or a dog convalescing, this is not the bed to buy, the sides could be a hazard.

Comfy! Fits my boyfriend (25M, 5'11) and I (25F, 4'11) nicely, his feet only hang over the end slightly. Only complaint is the center is a little flat already so I know it will get worse overtime. However it works great considering the other options are $400+ bean bags!
