This is a great toy- super impressed. I bought it to “play” with my 3 year old nephew. He is very intrigued by the human body and what’s inside- lots of questions about where things are and how our bodies work. Obviously, he is understanding about 1% of the toy. And I first looked at purchasing Operation or something similar but I think it does kids and adults both a disservice to “dumb” down how wonderful and complex our bodies are. And while clearly not understanding everything, he loved learning about the intestines, and now has a pretty good grasp on our bones, muscles, brain, skull, lungs, heart, and rib cage. He *loved* the little plastic forceps and tweezers that came with it. He used them to carefully place each squishy organ into the body. And then used them again to remove each squishy organ and place them on the accompanying poster. And tbh, a good refresher on anatomy for myself (36 years old)! 10/10 recommend- especially for any child curious about the “insides”.

My girl loved it! I bought 3 more for all the kid birthday parties I had coming up. I will say it says 5-8 years old on Amazon but on the box it says 8+ so it’s not too accurate but I still loved it.

So disappointing. I guess I should have paid more attention to the description. This is not squishy. The body shell is hard and was tricky to open. Bones immediately came loose and came out. It took 2 adults to carefully reassemble the parts correctly-the connector parts are tiny. Snapping the body closed was not easy, it would be frustrating for a child or, more likely broken. The internal organs appear to be squishy but we did not unpackage them since I will be returning this.
