  • May not be true bumper plates
Did a WOD with Power Snatches, dropping from about mid chest onto rubber stall mats. The plate separated, inside is not solid.

  • Poor Quality. Don’t Waste Your Time.
After reading all reviews and waiting over 3 weeks for delivery I received my 370lb set and was instantly disappointed. The plates looked nothing like they do in the pictures. Every plate has parallel grooves throughout the plate that I assume is from the molding process. The two 35’s are different shades of blue. The 10’s have black markings and dents. The red 45 have speckles of the orange from the 15’s on them and there are blemishes and seams throughout the set. I was very bummed out upon receiving these because they looked so nice in the pictures. I reached out to hulkfit(they do not have a number or website but provided an email with their “warranty” card with the shipment). After a week of very unresponsive emails they just said they were sorry but they would not be able to fix the problem. I am returning these and buying a nicer set from another brand. This has been a waste of a month. ... show more

  • Only one plate
Style: 45-Pound
Only one plate. Not sold as pair. Deceptively priced at just under what other pairs are currently selling for. You think you are getting a good deal. Buyer beware. You are not getting a good deal. The functional cost is twice the listed price.

  • Good enough for right now
Style: Old45
With gyms being closed I needed weights to workout with. These were available for a relatively reasonable amount ($80) for 45lbs. They are shipped in normal boxes with straps around it. The boxes came destroyed with the edges of the plate sticking out. Like other reviewers stated, the plates had scratches and marks. Some reviews state they are used, I think they're just poorly packaged and shipped. There was a discoloration mark on one of mine that can't seem to be removed. Finally, with quality issues noted I weighed myself on a scale and then weighed myself with the weight to see how accurate it was. I came in at 159lbs and 202.4 with the weight, which comes to 43.4lbs. So the weight is about 1.6lbs too light. I weighed all 4 plates I purchased and they all came out the same. Those were my issues, but they're weights so they don't need to be pretty and I'm not building a professional gym so I guess the weight is close enough. With the shortages in gym equipment and people trying to sell stuff at cut throat prices on craigslist and facebook, this was a good enough deal so I can keep working out. ... show more

  • Inexpensive, decent quality, ships free with Prime.
Style: Old45
These seem fine, but I'm not using these for deadlifts, snatches, etc. Bought two 45 plates to practice the Sprint-Drag -Carry portion of the Army Combat Fitness Test. I'm not as concerned with durability. My main concern was shipping. I work in Hawaii. Hulkfit was among the three companies that would even ship to the island without charging 3x the cost of the product. They were the best rated of the three. The price was comparable. My plates arrived in less than a week, well-packed. without damage. They were wrapped and strapped into cardboard and then boxed in a second cardboard box. The plates had some marks in them which look like minor cosmetic manufacturing flaws - nothing significant. Other customers have noticed the same marks. I don't care. They fit the sled I have. Measured as 45.3 lbs. They came with an encouraging Warranty Card. I was also offered a free pair of barbell clamps for this review. It seems like a good deal. What could go wrong? ... show more

  • 45 lbs bumper plate ok 25 lbs bumper plate marginal
Style: Old45
does the job... only issue is not weight related, because plate is so wide can not fit 4 plates on same side of storage rack for plates. 25 lbs plates I ordered on Feb. 6 still not here on April 30... Now they say July 5 months or more after I placed that order... Ordered similar product 25 lbs. bumper plate from CAP Friday April 26th... Just received the order Today April 30th.. GREAT JOB CAP... 45 lbs, Shows scraps and wear.. Looked OK originally will see how this holds up 6 months from now.. Update: Scraps not really scraps looks like an issue with molding of the plate. Like Mild did not release all the rubber from the mold... Works though. 25 lbs plates appear damaged during mold forming process. cracks along edges all around the plate. Too almost 4 months to get so not going to return them. Hope they hold up and don't break into pieces over time. reducing this to 3 stars they won't let me write a review of just the 25 lbs plate... ... show more

  • Bumper plates
Style: Old45
I spent a great deal of time researching bumper plates. I'm just getting back into lifting and wanted to be able to do olympic lifts at home. these look good and came on time. I haven't started lifting with them yet. They also did not have much of a rubber smell that many people complain about with other weights. I have the 10lbs, 25lbs, 35lbs and 45lB's. I've been lifting with these for about a month now they work well and have just minor discoloration where they impact the mats. You can see the setup where I use them. I built the platform and plates hit a 3/8in equine stall mat. They have decent bounce and aren't super loud. The 10lbs plates bend and flex more than I would like when they are loaded on the bar individualy. ... show more

  • Good looking bumper plates and timely shipping
Style: Old45
Got fortunate to find these during the Prime Day event but these are well-priced just normally. The insert collars are about 1" thick (beyond the oly bar opening.) Some bumper plates hardly have any clearing beyond the opening (much thinner inserts,) so this should allow for a long duration of wear. The bumper rubber feels very secure around the steel weight. The only critique I could find is that the insert collar is slightly tight on a 2-inch oly collar. It fits but there isn't much play, compared to other bumper plates I have. It also has the distinct smell of new rubber but this is less a critique than it is recognition of that aspect of the material. It should work itself out in a few days. I bought a pair of 45s and they were both delivered in 3 days (prime, so free shipping.) I was concerned that they would have taken longer or would arrive on separate days but they both made it on the same-day. I will have to update this review once I get some mileage on them but I've been impressed so far. In all, though, these plates look really good and I am hoping these last for a while. ... show more
