Backed by our limited lifetime warranty, (see owner's manual for details), the steel hardtail frame provides solid performance and efficiently transfers your pedal power for strong acceleration on straight surfaces and uphill climbs. Just follow the simple step-by-step instructions; our product manual guides you through every step. This 24-inch model is ideal for ages 12-19 and a rider height of 58-70 inches; an alloy quick release enables easy seat height adjustments. The ATB saddle, with premium padding, has stitched sides for lasting comfort. Front suspension on the Stone Mountain handles uneven terrain with ease. The suspension fork, in rich black gloss, absorbs any bumps and dips encountered on your path for a smoother-feeling ride. The indexed SHIMANO TZ-31 rear derailleur combines with the micro-shift twist shifter to deliver 21 speeds on-demand for uphill climbing, downhill riding, or pure acceleration. The removable rear derailleur guard protects the gears from any unintentional damage. Knobby 24" X 1.95" tires provide good traction in wet and dry conditions - on dirt, gravel, or even pavement. Lightweight alloy wheels in matte black blend well with the overall design. Front and rear steel linear pull handbrakes provide consistent, dependable stopping action on demand. The slight-rise handlebar enables upright riding to minimize back and shoulder strain. Kraton grips remain comfortable to the touch on short and longer rides.

The info on inches and heights was there right in front of me..This AWESOMELY made, relatively easy to put together, took about 1 1/2 hours>PERFECT!. I watched the video which clearly walks you through the entire process. OH My the Crisp Red color,The sleek cool looking awesomely light weight solid structured fit me to the TEEEEE...This Bike is NOW in my TOP 3 items I have ever purchased on Amazon..that I cherish the most..The cost is nothing compared to how I/We/You are going to feel proudly riding on this Bike. The brake levers are upside down and above the handle bars. I can't loosen and rotate them to the correct angle because the brake wires block the allan wrench hole for the brake levers on both sides Update: I found the solution. I had to loosen the screw just below the center of the handle bars and rotate the handle bars and brake levers as one. ... show more

Bought this for my 10 yo for Christmas. Bike took some time to assemble but came together pretty easily. Issues: The wheels are not straight and contact the brake pads sporadically while riding, making a scrubbing sound. I made significant adjustments to the brake pad spacing but could not easily dial it in to the spacing referenced in the manual - needed wider spacing to avoid contacting the tire. The derailleurs were not indexed properly. I followed the instructions step by step to set the low and high limits, then adjusted the thumbscrews to adjust the indexing. I spent 4 hours (not exaggerating) adjusting and could not get the shifting to work properly - it skipped gears, and the bike would often shift gears on its own while pedaling. Front derailleur was trash, could never get it to shift into the smallest gear. The shifters were “tight” especially for the front gearing, my son couldn’t even shift it to the smallest gear because it was so tight. Ultimately I decided to return it, too much wasted time trying to make it functional. Don’t waste your time on this bike, it’s trash just like many of the other reviewers said. I wish I’d listened to them, but I was attracted to the positive reviews and the price seemed reasonable. At the very least, don’t trash the box after buying it, because you can’t return it without the box. I had to buy a $20 bike box just to return it after trashing the original box (which was damaged on the bottom). Fortunately Amazon covered the cost of the bike box and made this return process pretty easy. ... show more

Had to take the bike to a bike shop for assembly. What a joke! It was in a million pieces. No normal person could possibly put this bike together without a professional. The bike shop had no problem assembling the bike. I also felt better knowing it was assembled correctly for safety reasons. Not real high-end but good enough for me. I give it a four overall because of the look and feel. Assembly is definitely one star. Dick's Sporting Goods has a bike repair shop. Cost only $40 for professional assembly. Worth it for safety reasons! ... show more

Sort of got finessed with this one for 180 or so dollars, however, it's 'fine' for the price, especially for a beginner and a commuter, I guess... Hard to really even call it a 'mountain bike', this is pretty sketch right out of the box and shouldn't see any rough use until it gets checked out and tuned up after assembly. The stock seat is horribly uncomfortable, the handlebar is a little frustrating to align, and honestly, this design is almost like a hybrid bike that's way heavier with knobby tires and mostly useless fork suspension. For me, it's decent enough for the abysmal sidewalks and bike paths in my city, but most certainly not fast or speedy enough to compete on the road, at least not at a cost-effective effort with its weight and lack of aerodynamics. That being said, still a decent enough commuting bike, not the best but it certainly gets the job done, and certainly beats walking once you replace the seat and get some cargo racks and baskets. Though, I personally wouldn't go too hard on this thing for actual mountain-cycling, it creaks and clamors already on a flat sidewalk as is. ... show more

My 12 year old had outgrown her 20" bike so I got her this for her birthday. I put it together in about 20 mins with very few tools. It doesn't do so well with 200 lbs of old man on it, but it's great with 100 lbs of kid. my only complaint is that the pedal cranks are a bit long - it's really easy to scrape the pedals on the ground while turning.
