This bike is perfect for my 7 year old! He absolutely loves it. We put the seat all the way down so plenty of room to grow. Assembly was pretty straight forward and took less than an hour. The only thing I would say is shifting back down is a little tough, but he is still able to do it and doesn’t seem to be an issue for him. We haven’t used it enough yet to comment on wear, but the price was right and so far we are very satisfied with this bike.     • Easy to assemble, rides well and solid construction
The bike came with all the tools needed to assemble, and the included instructional video made assembly a breeze. I bought the 20" bike for my child and it looks very nice and rides well. The 6-speed shifter is a little tight on the ends for the little hand but operates well between gears 2-5. While the paint is of good color, it seems to be very thin. I peeled off the white barcode sticker and it took off a big piece of paint with it. Now I need to find some touch-up paint to seal off the steel from the environment before it rusts... ... show more

Bikes have really gone up in price, but this one was reasonable for the quality you get. It is very sturdy and a really nice metallic blue color. My 6 year old loves that it has had brakes and gears. It was a little tall for him at first with even adjusting the seat, but it will last him for a while. Great purchase! ... show more

    • Great bike. Easy to set up. Seat was the only issue. Almost impossible to put it together tightly.
For my son's 9th birthday. First speed bike and is flying to and from school. Easy 30 min set up. Almost impossible to get seat tightly in place so it won't move going over a big bump.

This bicycle has continuously fallen apart since receiving it. We have had chain issues, front and back completely flat tires already, handlebars come loose on regular basis posing a danger to the rider. We have tightened everything repeatedly. It's 100% junk!!

Was happy with this bike. I bought it for my 8 year old. He has to stand on his tiptoes to straddle it but will grow into it quickly. Assembly went well. I didn't have to adjust brakes or gears to get it working. The one thing that stands out to me is that it is hard for him to shift into first gear because you have to wrench on the shifter fairly hard to pull the spring to 1st. My daughters have similar bikes and they have the same problem so it seems to be the design. I would recommend this bike. ... show more
